Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Northamerica1000

Hey Keepscases, I just wanted to let you know that I asked you a question at Northamerica1000's RfA. You are under no obligation to respond, of course, but I am very interested in hearing your views on the matter.

Take care. =) Kurtis (talk) 20:54, 10 November 2012 (UTC)

Belated Happy New Year with a Toast!

float

Here's a toast to the host
Of those who edit wiki near and far,
To a friend we send a message, "keep the data up to par".
We drink to those who wrote a lot of prose,
And then they whacked a vandal several dozen blows.
A toast to the host of those who boast, the Wikipedians!

A personal view

Just a personal view: I consider that everyone is open to have useboxes stating their religious (or non-religious) tendencies on their userpage, and I believe that it doesn't "serves only to alienate other editors who actually want to keep their religion". No user might change their religion because they see that userbox on other user's page. Not because I have a "This user is a gay male" userbox on my userpage means that every user that comes to my userpage will become gay too, or will they? — ΛΧΣ21 02:29, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

I understand the respect thing. Although, I did not find that userbox insulting. I respect your right to oppose her and I am in no way challenging your oppose :) I just wanted to express what I thought about it. Thanks for the response. Regards. — ΛΧΣ21 02:43, 7 February 2013 (UTC)

Thank you

For your kind words on my talk page. If it helps, I am sure you could leave the vote in any other place in the section, with a request for it to be moved to the bottom. Cheers, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 03:20, 26 April 2013 (UTC)

Talk:RfA

Keepscases: I'm sure you have good reasons for being angry, but that's a personal attack. Please tone it down. If only so that something might possibly come out of the discussion. Yngvadottir (talk) 12:20, 23 May 2013 (UTC)

You are missed

I came here to say hello; sadly seeing that you haven't edited in quite a while. I hope you are well, and the path to your future, laden with joy. I am glad for the good fortune of knowing you. It is therefor proper that I miss you now; and will. I wish the best for you.—John Cline (talk) 03:04, 4 September 2013 (UTC)

I second that. I miss your RfA questions, and fondly remember mine... I think they were valuable in evaluating response to strange circumstances. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't appreciate the surreal. Peridon (talk) 21:06, 15 September 2013 (UTC)

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
