I HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG other then deleting sohr as a source

Decline reason:

Until you accept that you did something wrong, which I agree that you did, you will not be unblocked. I am declining this request. Further unblock requests that are unproductive will likely result in your ability to edit this page being removed for the duration of your block. 331dot (talk) 10:46, 1 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I did edit the source and number of the casualities of the turkish army in the operation olive branch people said i cant do that since they trust sohr as a source i personally asked sohr if they can provide any proof for their claims that more then 80 turkish soliders got kileld sohr couldnt i did edit again and showed every one the email and even the phone number of sohr so if they dont believe me they can ask for them self they blocked me for fighting for the truth they are to lazy to write an email to sohr but not lazy enough to block me i did got blocked for editing to much and on wrong pages but i do not accpet a permament ban on something just because i critize a source

Decline reason:

There are places to evaluate the reliability of a source. The article isn't one of them. SOHR is well-known to not reveal its methodology or its sources. That's not the same as being unreliable. All of this shows some severe misunderstandings of how Wikipedia content should be edited and sourced. It seems likely that the issues that led to the block would recur if you were unblocked. Note edit

Please read this notification carefully, it contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

A community decision has authorised the use of general sanctions for pages related to the Syrian Civil War and the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. The details of these sanctions are described here. All pages that are broadly related to these topics are subject to a one revert per twenty-four hours restriction, as described here.

General sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimise disruption in controversial topic areas. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to these topics that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behaviour, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. An editor can only be sanctioned after he or she has been made aware that general sanctions are in effect. This notification is meant to inform you that sanctions are authorised in these topic areas, which you have been editing. It is only effective if it is logged here. Before continuing to edit pages in these topic areas, please familiarise yourself with the general sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Topic ban edit

As you have repeatedly editred disruptively in this area you are now subject to the following sanction.

You are indefinitely topic banned from making any edits about the Syrian Civil War and/or Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, broadly construed. This includes all talk pages.

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the community authorised general sanctions for the Syrian Civil War and Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. This sanction has been recorded in the log. Please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction on the administrators' noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page) and you may ask for clarification of the scope of this ban. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you.

Request reason:

SOHR ISNT A SOURCE I HAVE PROVIDED enough for you just ask them if they can provide proof fo their claims

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 23:23, 31 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Word of advice edit

Hey there, I'm not really a regular user around here, in fact this is the first time this account has been logged into in years. Normally I just browse the site and fix any issues I happen to come across as an IP editor, which is what I was just doing a moment ago on the "List of main battle tanks by generation" when I noticed you edit warring with another user over the Altay battle tank. I'm not sure why, but that compelled me to log in and send you this quick message.

If you have an issue with an article that you feel should be corrected and another user disagrees with you on this, this is a matter that you should discuss on that particular article's talk page, which in the case of the list of MBTs would be located here. Going back and making the same edit over again and arguing with that other user in your edit summaries is exactly what you should not do; that is against the rules on literally every wiki-type site I've ever contributed to, and I feel I would be safe in assuming that Wikipedia would have a much lower tolerance for it than most sites.

As for the matter of the Altay and the South Koreans, I believe the issue stems from the fact that Hyundai, a Korean company, has provided significant technical advice and oversight to the Turks on the design, construction, and ongoing development of the tank. Just a note to bear in mind.

I DID SHOW A SOURCE THAT ALTAY ISNT SOUTH KOREAN !!!!

August 2018 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at List of main battle tanks by generation and List of equipment of the Turkish Land Forces, you may be blocked from editing. There are plenty of sources in Altay (tank) that says it's based on the South Korean K2-tank, and that large parts of the tank are built under license in Turkey.Tom | Thomas.W talk 14:30, 6 August 2018 i have left a source that altay isnt south korean unlike you so you should be banned for disruptive editing (UTC)
