2008 IPL page: Standings table

edit

Hi Kdg81, When I reverted your alterations to the Standings table on the 2008 IPL page with the edit message:

  • Reverted to edit by DesiStrider. There have been a few changes to the table format back and forth: discuss on the talk page here before editing

I did so because there have already been a few edits back and forth between your preferred format and that initially chosen by Quack 688. As you can see from the pages Quack 688 links to, the format for their standings tables has "points" in the column before matches played. If you think that your format is more appropriate please discuss this in the talk page before implementing this change. Until then I have again reverted your amendment.   Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Gyaneshwari Express train derailment, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.(Lihaas (talk) 22:02, 29 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Express derailment

edit

Itsonly as per the article title, you may be right (and i think you can have a good cause), but put it under a move section in the discussion page then when the page title changes it is more consistent/appropriate to label it as such. Based on your source on my page, i would support this move.(Lihaas (talk) 22:05, 31 May 2010 (UTC)Reply
