Regarding the picture Image:C.elegans worm.png, I am afraid I have to ask: did you create the image, or are you otherwise in a position to release it under the Creative Commons license? (The website you are listing as its source contains no evidence of it using any CC license, and its copyright policy page prohibits commercial use without a permission of Wormatlas editors.) Thank you. - Mike Rosoft 21:52, 5 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Possibly unfree Image:Adult worm.jpg edit

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:Adult worm.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. Please go to its page for more information if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. [Keith, first and foremost please note that I am not qualified to give legal advice.] Ms. Alton should read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. She must license the content she is willing to donate to Wikipedia under the GNU Free Documentation License or a license that is compatible with it (Creative Commons license, BSD license, or release into the public domain). Please especially note that "I give permission for this content to be used on Wikipedia" is not sufficient. We require a clear, affirmative statement that the copyright owner is licensing the content under the GFDL (or other GFDL-compatible license). Finally, Ms. Alton must either: (1) explicitly note that the images are licensed as such on her website or (2) e-mail Wikipedia at permissions-en at wikimedia dot org. Any other questions? --Iamunknown 23:08, 15 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Question edit

Hi. I had supplied an inline citation in wiki form to the Amber Rubarth article. I noticed that you just undid that -- was just wondering if that may have been unintentional?--Epeefleche (talk) 18:20, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Oh I'm sorry. I was editing the article at the same time as you and it reported that there was a potential conflict but I couldn't see what it was. Purely unintentional. My apologies. Nod (talk) 18:34, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
I reinstated your change Nod (talk) 20:19, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
Not a problem.--Epeefleche (talk) 20:20, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

February 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to N50 statistic may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • genome from the fictional species A was 500 Kbp, then the ''NG50'' contig length would be 30 Kbp (80 + 70 + 50 + 40 + 30 is greater than 50% of 500 Kbp. In contrast, if the estimated or known size

Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 18:05, 18 February 2014 (UTC)Reply
