Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Papillion La Vista Senior High School. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. Krellis 17:52, 7 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Class of 2007

edit

A tag has been placed on Class of 2007, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. If you plan to add more material to the article, I advise you to do so immediately. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources which verify their content. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. – Swid (talk | edits) 17:04, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Lamda Sigma Pi

edit

Hello, thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. This article on your fraternity is being put up for deletion, because the article does not say why the group is important. Generally, Wikipedia is not for something you came up with in school one day, and one of the main reasons is that it is impossible to verify any of the information written. Abu-Fool Danyal ibn Amir al-Makhiri 17:37, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

So please guys, at least let my Frat article exist, its important.

It sucks to have your stuff deleted, I know. But, try to look at it from a reader's perspective: why is this important, and why should they believe it? See Wikipedia:Verifiability. Abu-Fool Danyal ibn Amir al-Makhiri 18:21, 19 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

David Black (politician)

edit

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article David Black (politician), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please either work to improve the article if the topic is worthy of inclusion in Wikipedia, or, if you disagree with the notice, discuss the issues at its talk page. Removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, but the article may still be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached, or if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria. – Swid (talk | edits) 23:12, 16 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Papillion, Nebraska, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page David Black (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
