Your edits to your bio

edit

Hi there KBacon10000. I am working on the assumption that you are Kevin Bacon (politician) - if this is not the case then we will need to have a chat about your username as because of the area you are editing in it could be construed as impersonation. Editing your own biography is always going to be difficult and although it is not outright disallowed on Wikipedia you do need to take extra special care; in particular the type of edits you are making which seem to be aimed at removing cited criticism from the article need to the approached as openly and transparently as possible. The recommended route would be to declare your conflict of interest on the article's talk page, explain your reason for wanting to remove the content (this would need to be in the context of Wikipedia policy) and reach a consensus for the changes before taking it further; if possible you should leave the actual editing to another editor. Hope this helps. Kind regards, nancy 08:36, 17 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning; the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Kevin_Bacon_(politician), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. nancy 07:58, 19 March 2011 (UTC)Reply
