Kayden

edit

A tag has been placed on Kayden, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Studerby 13:36, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. I have deleted the page Kayden you recently created. First, the text was copied from [1] and we cannot accept copyright content. Even if the text was released under the correct license, it is still promotional in nature and given your username it is most likely that you are either Kayden yourself or his agent. Wikipedia is not myspace or a soapbox and cannot accept promotional material. Note also that writing about yourself on Wikipedia is considered a bad idea. As part of your spam campaign, you also made an unacceptable edit to Mark Wahlberg which has been quickly reverted as you might have noticed. Pascal.Tesson 13:38, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

What Wikipedia is not

edit

Kayden, please understand that Wikipedia is not a soapbox. It is inappropriate to try and create pages for yourself, with the intent of trying to advertise yourself. It would appear as though you are trying to promote yourself as a model, which is not only an ad but is also a conflict of interest. Please read both the soapbox and conflict of interest sections to understand Wikipedia policy. -FeralDruid 20:14, 4 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
