Notability of Supreme Master Television
A tag has been placed on Supreme Master Television requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 59.167.48.220 (talk) 05:51, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Supreme Master Ching Hai Day
A tag has been placed on Supreme Master Ching Hai Day requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Riotrocket8676 You gotta problem with that? 13:48, 10 April 2009 (UTC)
Just to let you know, I've added the history of Sup. Mas. C. H. Day and a couple of references. I hope that helps.
Proposed deletion of The Noble Wilds
A proposed deletion template has been added to the article The Noble Wilds, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:
- Non-notable book per Wikipedia:Notability (books), unreferenced, part of WP:Walled garden, possible WP:COI
All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Thankyou for the barnstar!
I think what you need to to do is establish the books' notability - awards they have won and been nominated for, book sales, and any discussion of them in the national press or book magazines or TV interviews. Some of these articles may be of use:

Alix Bushnell
I think you are confused in your comment at Talk:Alix Bushnell. She is a mainstream actress, and not as far as I know a pornographic one. Please amend your comment. You can remove my reply there when you've done so.
I've also removed the prod tags from this article and from Bronwyn Turei, as these two actresses have very recently starred in a popular New Zealand television series. If you believe they are not notable, an AFD is appropriate.-gadfium 05:55, 17 June 2009 (UTC)

Merge/deletion proposal
Please see the comments I made at Talk:List_of_Mr._Men#Merge proposal and Talk:Mr._Men#Merge_proposal regarding those articles. In general, deletion is never a good idea when a merge would suffice. I would be wholly in favor of merging all of these articles, as the creator doesn't seem to be interested in Wikipedia anymore and in any case neither he nor anyone else could significantly improve any of the articles. Hi Kayau
I accept your offer to become your adoptee. I look foward to working with you. Thanks, Dranster Dranster
Hi Kayau,
Thank you for adopting me. I would like to learn more about wiki markup. I am not quite sure what that means
Thanks,
Dranster Dranster
Hi Dranster! Put simple, wiki markup is the code wikis use. There is no standard wiki markup, but you'll use the Wikipedia version here - of course. You've used some of it before. For example, [[this]]is a link, and looks like this. '''That''' is bold, and looks like that. Simple enough. Even the <ref></ref> tag is a Wiki markup. Thanks for your attention! All the best, Kayau (talk) 02:27, 26 June 2009 (UTC) P.S. ~~~~, which you use in talk pages, is also a wiki markup.
Good Morning, Kayau. I am little unclear on the citations. I am continuing to read through the information on in line citations, but will need your help and assistance on this one. I tend to be more visual and need to see something before I completely understand it.
I am also in the process of loading my first image. It is an image of John Franklin Gray. Let me know if I have uploaded the image correctly.
Enjoy your weekend.
I must remind you to do one thing after you write in talk pages: Sign with four tides. You must do that at all costs. (Which looks like ~~~~) All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 14:05, 28 June 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. I will remember to add the four tides.--Dranster (talk) 15:21, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Kayau, I have made a correction to the footnotes on David Brewster. Please review at your convenience and let me know if the correction I made is correct way to cite. I want to make sure these are correct before changing others.--Dranster (talk) 16:38, 29 June 2009 (UTC)--Dranster (talk) 19:36, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Hi Dranster! I'm afraid that is still not quite appropiate. Remember to add inline citations, and that means you need to tell people which source the fact comes from. For example, you have the fact: Albert Einstein is the Father of Relativity. People will want to know where this comes from. When they look at the references, they will see 'Yahoo', 'Google', 'Ask.com', and 'Sina'. They have no idea which one the fact comes from. Compare:
Version A (wrong): Dranster is very clever. He always helps others. Everyone likes him.
References:
- Yahoo, P.10
- Google, P.15
Version B (right): Dranster is very clever.[1] He always helps others. [2] Everyone likes him. .[1]
References and footnotes
When we look at version B, we know that 'Dranster is very clever' and 'everyone likes him' are facts from yahoo, while 'he always helps others' is from google. That's what ver. A lacks. I hope this is cleaerer. All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 02:29, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

- What a surprise! I'm sorry I am replying so late. I never noticed this message before. Really, I thought you got uninterested after I tried really hard to teach you the inline citations. I will try to improve your understanding further in that area. If you have any problems, especially those regarding citations and references, just ask me. This might help a bit:
All information in Wikipedia articles should be verified by citations to reliable sources. Our preferred method of citation is using the "cite.php" form of inline citations, using the <ref></ref> elements. Using this method, each time a particular source is mined for information (don't copy word-for-word!), a footnote is placed in the text ("inline"), that takes one to the detail of the source when clicked, set forth in a references section after the text of the article. In brief, anywhere you want a footnote to appear in a piece of text, you place an opening <ref> tag followed by the text of the citation which you want to appear at the bottom of the article, and close with a </ref> tag. Note the closing slash ("/"). For multiple use of a single reference, the opening ref tag is given a name, like so: <ref name="name"> followed by the citation text and a closing </ref> tag. Each time you want to use that footnote again, you simply use the first element with a slash, like so: <ref name="name" />. In order for these references to appear, you must tell the software where to display them, using either the code <references/> or, most commonly, the template, {{Reflist}} which can be modified to display the references in columns using {{Reflist|colwidth=30em}}. Per our style guidelines, the references should be displayed in a separate section denominated "References" located after the body of the article. | |
Inline citation code; what you type in 'edit mode' | What it produces when you save |
Two separate citations.<ref>Citation text.</ref><ref>Citation text2.</ref>
{{Reflist}} |
|
Templates that can be used between <ref>...</ref> tags to format references {{Citation}} • {{Cite web}} • {{Cite book}} • {{Cite news}} • {{Cite journal}} • Others • Examples |
Follow the method stated there. Kayau David Copperfield MOBY DICK the great gatsby 05:41, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

I have removed the {{prod}} tag from KCTJ, which you proposed for deletion. I'm leaving this message here to notify you about it. If you still think the article should be deleted, please don't add the {{prod}} template back to the article. Instead, feel free to list it at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Thanks! By way of clarification, the redlink relates to a radio station; fully-licensed radio stations are generally held to be notable. As a result, the redlink represents an article that could be created, and likely will be. Disambiguation with the similarly-coded airport is therefore useful. Mlaffs (talk) 02:13, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

You placed a tag in Metal Ions in Life Sciences. This article is about a series of books. All the information regarding these books can be verified on the publishers' web-site which are cited. Please consider removing the tag. Petergans (talk) 14:30, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Hi Petergans! I'm afraid I am not going to remove the tag yet. My own article, Otto Undercover, has a tag on it as well. Maybe you can use the publisher's website instead. Thank you. All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 00:35, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- This is not a good reason. I will remove the tag myself with a comment. I suggest that you do the same for Otto Undercover, though I suggest that you first add ISBN numbers to the book titles to verify the existence of the books. Petergans (talk) 07:48, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- Why, thanks for reminding me. I keep forgetting the ISBNs. By the way, I must insist that you add the references. As you know, notability and verifiability are the very soles of a good article. Thanks again. All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 13:52, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- By the way, in case you didn't know, the reason why your article didn't make its way to the DYK is the fact that it is unreferenced. So I'm not the only one who wants you to cite the article. All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 13:53, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
- I must disagree. There is no way a series of books can be referenced other than by giving the ISBNs which verify the existence of the books. Also, the publisher's web site provides details of content etc. Therefore an "unreferenced" tag serves no purpose. Petergans (talk) 09:01, 2 July 2009 (UTC)
Hi Petergans! I appreciate your article. I really do. But I am afraid I must insist that you add the references. Both Chamal and Scarce think that you should cite the article. Don't worry, I was just occupied with school work, although school is suspended, so I didn't have time editing Wikipedia in the past week. I'm sorry if I had insulted you with my comments. I would like to discuss an important matter about the new WikiProject: We have too few members. Everyone else is focusing on something: some photographs, others a single area. One is even planning to do nothing but raise Cathay Pacific to GA status! So you see, with so few members, I dare say it will be the first of september before we tag, categorise and reference all the articles in the scope. That's why we need more members. I have tried to advertise the fact that we lack participants in the Wikipedia Community (at least, that's what I think it's called,) but I do fear that the work will still be too much, even if we have an extra member - perhaps five or six will work out better. Perhaps I could do the light-rail stops and you do the MTR (you know, the only lines called MTR before the merge.) Feel free to object if you wish to. All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! Here is a simple task you may be interested in:
- Go to Template:MTR.
- Click on any link you may find.
- When you see the article, look at the top right corner. If there is a star, remember it. If there is an oval with a '+' sign, remember that as well. Ignore any other icons.
- See if the article is short. If it is, remember that.
- Click on 'edit this page'. If the article was short, put the {{asia-rail-stub}} code on the bottom.
- Save the page. Go to the discussion, or talk page. Click on edit this page. Add the following code to the page:
{{WikiProject Hong Kong Transport |class=(class) |importance=(importance) }}
- Here is a rough guide to filling in the bits in the brackets:
- Class:
- If the article was short, put 'stub' after class.
- If there was a star icon on the top right corner, put 'FA' (or 'FL' if the article happens to be a list.)
- If there was an oval with a '+' sign, put 'GA' after class.
- If the article was long but not very good, put 'start'.
- Other grades available are A, B, and C. (See my guildlines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Hong Kong Transport/Assessment.)
- Importance:
- See my guildlines at Wikipedia:WikiProject Hong Kong Transport/Assessment.
- Do NOT add the brackets!
- Class:
7. Save the page. There you go. You're done! Note:If any of the above processes are already done, you don't have to redo it! Have fun! All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 10:10, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Hello. Thanks for your kind copyediting award. It's always nice to have one's work appreciated. While I'm here, I'd like to voice a concern about your signature. It uses raw pipe characters (|); these have the potential to disrupt templates and should be avoided. I encourage you to use <nowiki> tags for the pipes, or to perhaps consider removing them. DYK for Kick the bucket
Thank you for making WP:NODRAMA a success!
Thank you again for your support of the Great Wikipedia Dramaout. Preliminary statistics indicate that 129 new articles were created, 203 other articles were improved, and 183 images were uploaded. Additionally, 41 articles were nominated for DYK, of which at least 2 have already been promoted. There are currently also 8 articles up for GA status and 3 up for FA/FL status. Though the campaign is technically over, please continue to update the log page at WP:NODRAMA/L with any articles which you worked during the campaign, and also to note any that receive commendation, such as DYK, GA or FA status. You may find the following links helpful in nominating your work:
- T:TDYK for Did You Know nominations
- WP:GAC for Good Article nominations
- WP:FAC for Featured Article nominations
- WP:FLC for Featured List nominations
- WP:FPC for Featured Picture nominations
Again, thank you for making this event a success! --Jayron32.talk.say no to drama 02:29, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Airlines of Hong Kong
Hi Kayau,
Thought I'll drop you a note letting you know that I am in the processing of taking all (current) 'Airlines of Hong Kong' articles to GA status. Cathay Pacific and Dragonair are completed and already listed as GA status, Air Hong Kong and Hong Kong Airlines are currently under review, with updates awaiting final review. I will start the final one of Hong Kong Express Airways shortly. Aviator006 (talk) 15:10, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
- Kayau, hello there again, just to confirm that all 5 'Airlines of Hong Kong': Cathay Pacific, Dragonair, Air Hong Kong, Hong Kong Airlines and Hong Kong Express Airways; are now promoted to GA status. Thank you for the Barnstar, I look forward to see the 'new' one that you're going to replace it with! Cheers. (small request: would you be able to update the description of the Barnstar with the topic in question, rather than talking about the Barnstar, so I can put it in my Awards page?) Off I go to venture to other Airline articles... Aviator006 (talk) 05:12, 5 August 2009 (UTC)
Long ago User:BetacommandBot created the Category pages as List even though the Project name is Lists. I noticed you changed the name of the List assessment department, even though that was the name required by Template:WPBannerMeta. Will we have to change the names of all of our Categories now? Will you be doing that? The bot isn't picking up Category:Top-importance List articles anymore, and I was trying to find the bug, did you do that? Are you reverting all edits User:BetacommandBot did back in 2007? Or are you just changing the end results of those edits? It was quite a mess, but it seems our work-around is wrong? What should we do??? Prapsnot (talk) 01:44, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm sorry. I did not know that there were such cats related to the project page. I moved the page back to its original title. I hope that is OK for you. Kayau David Copperfield MOBY DICK the great gatsby 04:51, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
- I noticed that User:BetacommandBot had bot privilages permanently revoked by the Administrators; presumably because of this type of damage! Not your fault, we've got to figure a better way to get the bugs that bot created worked out; it's absolutely stupid and illogical to have it say List. Thank you Prapsnot (talk) 05:41, 3 August 2009 (UTC)
Barnstar
As I said here, you made an excellent choice. But don't diminish the Barnstar with an apology; go back and change your message to something that explains why he's getting it, like "For all the amazing work you've done at Wikiproject Hong Kong Transport." That way it's personalized and is distinguished from others that he has or will receive. Just a suggestion. Hey, take a look here, to see what I'm talking about. Cheers! re:Jimmy Wales
I respect your revert but im curious why I cannot change quotes. It is common edit etiquette to edit quotes with inproper grammar with brackets inserting text that was not said so the reader better understands the statement. Is this just for Jimmys page? I see it like this on wikipedia everywhere and in newspapers. What rule did I break?
Thanks
wait a second. you were not the one that reverted the edit. Please refrain from commenting on my userspace about my edits unless you are the one making the change or are curious on an edit I cerated and wish to have a consenus discussion. It is unnecessary.
Ivtv (talk) 21:43, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- So what's wrong with giving you a little reminder? To edit quotes, as you said, you use put them in brackets. I don't think you did that, no? (Correct me if I'm wrong.) Besides, famous Chinese poets turn adjectives into verbs, so what's wrong with Larry if he does the same with prepositions? :) Sorry, anyway, if I hurt your feelings. Users Who Turned Up In Places I Least Expected Them
I just found this section on your userpage. I chuckled at the fact that I'm on the list, and the comment beside it. I've always had the slight tendency to show up unexpectedly, and then disappear just as quickly, because I'm so quiet in real life. It's apparently quite startling whenever it happens.
By the way, when I "hit the wall", what it means is "I'm having (allergies/a breakthrough minor depressive episode/just plain bonkery) and should be napping, playing games, reading blogs, exercising, or something more productive than editing wikipedia. Please ignore the fact that I'm editing wikipedia anyway, because I'm not really here. Expect me to not be here as much." So, heh, yeah. It doesn't help that I tend to not put the {{bonked}} until I'm almost over it. I dream of horses @ 02:47, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
- Hah. Didn't you see that little template I put up on the 'life as a wikipedian section'? I love to play with my userpage. As you look more into my userpage, you'll discover a lot more humorous stuff. Did you realise, for example, that I'm a 'native speaker of sarcasm'? :) Kayau Wuthering Heights VANITY FAIR paradise lost 02:49, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

A message to everyone
As you may know, I am trying to start the WikiProject Hong Kong Transport. And as you should know, starting a new wikiproject isn't an easy job. So, I would like to invite everyone that's interested to help out! Here is the entire process:
- If you are interested, tell me at my talk page.
- I will tell you what I would like you to do at my talk page and put a talkback in mine.
- If you like it, tell me so on my talk page. Then, put your name on Wikipedia:WikiProject Hong Kong Transport/Participants as well as Wikipedia:WikiProject Hong Kong Transport#Supporters. Then you can start helping out!
- If you make a mistake, I will tell you in your talk page so that you can improve.
- And, since most of those 'jobs' you will do are repetitive ones, I will give you the Tireless Contributor's Barnstar. For exceptional cases, I will pick the best barnstar for you.
Thanks a million! All the best, Kayau (Talk to me! See what I've done! Sign my guestbook!) 09:43, 2 July 2009 (UTC)

- Thanks, but I don't think it's finished yet. My first attempt was a pistol pointing at the globe. Obviously didn't work with Nutiketaiel. My second attempt was the Churchill-roosevelt-Stalin thingy, with a transparent barnstar before it, and spitfires occupying the corners. Didn't work. Finally, Kingpin, despite the obvious lack of concencus, moved his flags proposal to the WP:* page. I'm not particularly fond of it, but Kingpin is right that there's got to be one out there, first -- like, there could be dozens of people contributing at World Wars without getting the barnstar. :P Again, thanks! Dramaonly
I attempted the dramaonly, and then I realized something. I have no arguments to resolve, really. An apology to give, perhaps, but I have already apologized a few times (albeit, a little awkwardly, perhaps). Maybe I applied don't give a fuck a little too much to really participate.
So yeah. It's not the WikiGnomes who will have problems participating in the DramaOnly--it's those like myself who just put a brick in a building (or a few edits to an article), and move on.
Nonetheless, I find the Dramaonly to be a fascinating concept. --I dream of horses @ 17:48, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

2010 WikiCup Signups Reconfirmation!
To ensure that everyone who signed up is still committed to participating in the 2010 WikiCup, it is required that you remove your name from this list! By removing your name, you are not removing yourself from the WikiCup. This is simply a way for the judges to take note of who has not yet reconfirmed their participation. If you have not removed your name from that list by December 30th, 2009 (by 23:59 (UTC)) then your name will be removed from the WikiCup.
It's worth noting the rules have changed, likely after you signed up. The changes made thus far are:
- Mainspace and/or portal edits will not be awarded points at all.
- Did you know? articles (which were worth 5 points last year) will now be worth 10 points.
- Good articles (which were worth 30 points last year) will now be worth 40 points.
- Valued pictures will be now awarded points, however the amount (5 or 10 points) is still being discussed.
- Featured lists (which were worth 30 points last year) will now be worth 40 points.
- Featured portals (which were worth 25 points last year) will now be worth 35 points.
- Featured articles (which were worth 50 points last year) will now be worth 100 points.
- Featured topics (which were worth 10 points per article last year) will now be worth 15 points per any article in the topic that you were a major contributor to.
- Good topics (which were worth 5 points per article last year) will now be worth 10 points per any article in the topic that you were a major contributor to.
- In the news will still be awarded points, however the amount (5 or 10 points) is still being discussed.
If you have any final concerns about the WikiCup's rules and regulations, please ask them now, before the Cup begins to avoid last minute problems. You may come to the WikiCup's talk page, or any of the judge's user talk pages. We're looking forwards to a great 2010 WikiCup! Last chance to confirm your WikiCup participation!
Hi Kayau! This is the last message that will go out to remind you that in order to participate in the 2010 WikiCup, you MUST remove your name from this list! Again, the reason for this reconfirmation is to ensure you've looked over the updated point values (which were different at the time you signed up) and to ensure that you are still interested in competing! If you don't have time to participate or no longer wish to, ignore this message and leave your name on the list. All names on the list will be removed from the contestants list before the Cup starts. There is a whole matrix of vandalism templates at Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace#Multi-level templates which are much easier to use than one-off warnings. - Denimadept (talk) 15:30, 28 January 2010 (UTC)

re: Thanks
Hey, looks like a fairly nice page you have there, although I only skimmed through since I'm not really familiar with MotD. As to the vandalism reversion, no problem at all :) - Kingpin13 (talk) 15:01, 3 February 2010 (UTC)

re: WT:WPWPA
Hey Kayau, and thanks for your support in my RfA :). Sorry I haven't been spending as much time around WPAwards as I used to, I've been busy with WP:Graphics lab, among other things. I'll try to make sure I keep my eye on there :). Best, - Kingpin13 (talk) 11:25, 8 February 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I know
I know it is not common practice to delete messages from talk pages when they have been read. It is allowed and since the IP addresses I use have all been shared with others I think it makes sense in this case.
(No, I don't intend to register. No, I don't want to discuss why.)

Rollback Granted
Hey their Kayau,
I have granted rollback rights to your account; the reason for this is that after a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback correctly, and for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, just let me know, and I'll remove it. Good luck and thanks. Vandal? No, not me
When you spoke to me on my talk page User talk:KingofFilm, you said I was a vandal. You, however, didn't say what I vandalized. Please tell me and I'll see if I considered that vandalism, if I thought it was nothing, or if someone hacked into my account. KOF :) 13:18, 15 February 2010 (UTC)
