Tsinghua University edit

Tsinghua University_wikipedia

Comment 1: Some information in the "Present" section may need updates

Since the "Present" section is supposed to talk about the present situation, some information may need be updated to be more accurate. For example, the Schwarzman Scholars program of Tsinghua University has already started now.

Comment 2: Possible unneeded old information

The section "Academic" has given the most recent information about the number of schools and departments at Tsinghua University. Therefore, the data of 2003 in the "Present" section may be not useful here and can be removed. --Katetwowiki (talk) 13:06, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed projects edit

Topic 1: clean energy Currently, Wikipedia doesn’t have a page for clean energy while it does have a page for “renewable energy” which is included in clean energy. For this topic, I intend to: • give a definition to clean energy • make a classification of clean energy • introduce different kinds of clean energy • give a final judgement and make a prediction

Topic 2: sweet green rice ball Sweet green rice ball is a unique Chinese food usually made during the traditional Qingming festival. There is not a page for sweet green rice ball in Wikipedia. For this topic, I intend to: • introduce the history of the sweet green rice ball • put on some pictures of sweet green rice ball • give a recipe of making sweet green rice ball • talk about the nutritive value of sweet green rice ball

I'm concerned about "clean energy" edit

There is a page for "Sustainable Energy"; is that the same thing as "clean energy" (if I search on Clean Energy, it redirects to Sustainable energy).

I would be surprised if your clean energy article were not refused for this reason.

I'm also not sure about green rice balls.... edit

It seems that a lot of it would be the same as the general "Rice Balls" article, no? (Maybe not.)

Your third topic looks like it might be a good possibility, although if you think that the green rice ball is substantially unique enough in history, nutrition, etc., you can go with that one, although I fear it might not be accepted by the Wikipedia community. However, if they rejected it, they might encourage you to add parts of it to the general rice ball article. In fact, you might consider that as a good option. Let me know what you think.

Also, it may help you to realize that you probably shouldn't put a recipe there, but rather a description (general, without specific amounts) of the ingredients and maybe how it is cooked (in an oven) rather than specific temperatures and times...

Thank you for your comments and suggestions. I decide to write on my third topic. I've started drafting my article and added a new part "Department of Precision Instrument" in the Wikipedia topic "Tsinghua University". --Katetwowiki (talk) 06:31, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Maybe I could write on the third topic edit

Thank you very much for the comments. Maybe I could write on the third topic. --Katetwowiki (talk) 05:41, 6 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
