March 2018

edit

Hello, I'm Cyphoidbomb. I noticed that you made one or more changes to an article, Pad Man (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Diff: [1] We're only interested in what reliable published sources with established reputations for fact-checking and accuracy have to say about any subject. The fact that a website exists on the Internet is not a sufficient reason to use it as though it were an authoritative reference. I'm not sure what you know about boxofficecollections.com, but it is not a site that I am familiar with, and we do not use blogs as references, since anybody can publish a blog or random website. If you're interested in what sort of sites you can use for sourcing for Indian film articles, please see WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources. Thanks. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 16:56, 13 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Diffs: [2] Even if we ignored the formatting errors that you added, (you put a URL in the middle of an existing URL and slapped closing braces around it) we do not use blogs or random websites as references, as anyone can publish a blog or website. jackace.in is not considered a reliable source. Please stick to mainstream sites found at WP:ICTF#Guidelines on sources. And if you're having trouble formatting references, please see Referencing for Beginners. Thank you. These changes were problematic too. You add data without any new references, change data without any new references, many of the formatting changes you made were sloppy, including forgetting the proper nouns are capitalised in English. You seem to have randomly added ":hindi" to parameter markup, you removed most of a reference, but left some of it behind, and you bizarrely changed an article access date from 7 July 2012 to 25 March 2017. You need to be very careful when you edit. If the net result of your changes causes damage to other parts of an article, it is indistinguishable from vandalism and will ultimately be treated that way to protect the encyclopedia. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of 500crore club

edit

Hello Kartik sharma92,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged 500crore club for deletion, because it seems to be a test. Did you know that the Wikipedia Sandbox is available for testing out edits?

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Sandbox

edit

If you would like extended time to work on an article and experiment with markup etc, you should generally do so in your sandbox, which can be accessed here: User:Kartik sharma92/sandbox, rather than creating a test page as a published article. See also Help:Table for more information on markup for tables on Wikipedia. You can also ask questions about editing at The Teahouse, which is our dedicated forum for newer editors to seek advice and assistance. GMGtalk 16:01, 20 March 2018 (UTC)Reply

Disruptive editing

edit

This change, where you change a portion of an existing URL to a different website, is indistinguishable from vandalism. I strongly recommend you double-check your changes before saving them, because the next edit you make like this that doesn't make any sense, will result in your editing privileges being interrupted to prevent damage to the encyclopedia. You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently adding unsourced or poorly sourced content. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:32, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
For this. Stop adding unsourced content, please. Also, this edit from April appears to be vandalism since it does not match the Census data. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 17:33, 17 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Not constructive

edit

This edit that you made fresh off a block for adding unsourced content does not appear constructive to me. The name Salma Khan is wrapped in a fairly obvious "{{not a typo}}" template, there are two references, and an additional hidden note indicating that the film poster says "Salma Khan". So it's unclear on what basis you would make the change to "Salman". Maybe it's correct, but without a reference explicitly contradicting it, how do you justify your change?   Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Battle of Chamkaur (1704). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. ---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 12:05, 19 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Battle of Chamkaur (1704). ---Wikaviani (talk) (contribs) 11:24, 20 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
