Welcome to Wikipedia! edit

Hello, Karparthos, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles. As well, all new biographies of living people must contain at least one reliable source.

If you are stuck and looking for help, please see the guide for citing sources or come to the new contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  RadioFan (talk) 11:45, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

When you remove material, you need to explain why. You both need to tone it down a bit with the accusations of vandalism and questioning the truth of various additions. Stick to the facts and make sure you have references to back up your claims or you are both going to get banned form editing. Remember, wikipedia isn't about what is "true" it's about what is verifiable. If a particular airline doesn't fly a particular route, go ahead and remove that but explain why and then put a note on the talk page explaining why it was removed and providing your reference for doing so (official web page for the airport, the airline, a published flight schedule, etc.)--RadioFan (talk) 22:47, 24 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ben Gurion International Airport edit

You and another editor appear to be involved in a prolonged edit war. Please stop. Also be aware of the 3 revert rule which forbids reverting another editors additions more than 3 times in a 24 hour period. If you are having differences with a particular editor, try to work it out with them directly, not on the article page. If you need administrator assistance, leave {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will assist.--RadioFan (talk) 15:35, 25 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: Hi edit

Hi Karparthos, Sorry, I am not an administrator of any kind. If you have problems with the Ben Gurion Airport page, I would request that page for protection for a while however, you and the other editor(s) involved need to discuss any dispute on the article talk page. Regards! Snoozlepet (talk) 20:32, 1 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

You might want to ask MilborneOne. He is an administrator that overlooks diputes aviation-related articles. Snoozlepet (talk) 00:57, 2 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

October 2011 edit

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ben Gurion International Airport. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -FASTILY (TALK) 21:50, 4 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I would like to learn why am i blocked from editing in Wikipedia. Firstly im not a sock puppet of Efekamer user. I have only 1 account. I want to learn who is Efekamer user. Because I want to continue editing in Wikipedia. I dont want to waste time in this problem. Thank you.

Decline reason:

Checkuser shows that all of your edits have come from a computer used by Efekamer. If you are not them, could you explain this? Hersfold (t/a/c) 23:52, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
