Steinway edit

Ok then. In the future, would you mind using edit summaries when you blank pages (even better, don't blank them at all)? It should prevent confusion. Keep up the good work. Cheers - Myanw 11:16, 1 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

A reference regarding: "Grand of the artists" in the article Steinway & Sons edit

Hey,

Someone has added a {{fact}} regarding the name of the 500,000th Steinway piano "Grand of the artists". I see that you have added the name "Grand of the artists" on May 31, 2007. That is why I am writing you. I think it would be very good if we could add a reference, that would make the very good article about Steinway better.

I have been sourcing very long time for a reference on the internet, but unfortunately without luck. I really hope that you will help me finding a reference to verify the name "Grand of the artists". Mayby you got it from a book...

From the section Steinway & Sons#Transformations:

"In 1987 Steinway made their 500,000th piano, making a milestone in the history of musical instruments. The piano was built by the Steinway factory in New York with some participation from the Steinway factory in Hamburg. The 500,000th Steinway was designed by artist Wendell Castle and was named "Grand of the artists".[citation needed]"
