Welcome

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your recent edits do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the "sandbox" rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributor's help page, or you can write {{helpme}} below this message along with a question and someone will be along to answer it shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! DanielRigal (talk) 21:29, 5 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your recent edits

edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 10:02, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or delete portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Talk:Mukkulathor, you will be blocked from editing. DanielRigal (talk) 10:51, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sockpuppetry case

edit

Your name has been mentioned in connection with a sockpuppetry case. Please refer to Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Karikala thevar for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with the guide to responding to cases before editing the evidence page. DanielRigal (talk) 13:54, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ownership of articles

edit

I see that in this edit you indicated that a particular article or talk page (it was not clear which) was to be edited only by members of a particular "community". Unfortunately this is not consistent with Wikipedia's policies, as you can see at Wikipedia:Ownership of articles. You also refer to the article or talk page in question as a "forum", but Wikipedia articles are not forums. You are free to have a web forum about Mukkulathor and restrict access to particular people, but Wikipedia is not the place to do so, and you should not try to use Wikipedia articles in this way. Anyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia articles, not just members of a particular group or community. On the other hand nobody is welcome to try to edit an article in such a way as to use it as a medium for a particular point of view, or to promote the opinions of a particular group.
