Why are you removing personal data sections?
Why have you removed the personal data sections in instances such as these 1, 2, 3, 4? These edits do not appear constructive. If there is a certain Wikipedia guideline that states that these personal data sections should be removed please tell me. Thanks. Inter&anthro (talk) 18:08, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Clarification
Hi there KANTE, from Portugal,
remember this WP:FOOTY report (please see here https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Football/Archive_100#Cristiano_Ronaldo), where you gave your opinion? Well, just to clarify I have nothing in particular against Real Madrid (I support no club at all, not even the Portuguese national team, I have some sympathy for Athletic Bilbao but that is all), no sir. However, in spite of my nationality, I have to say I don't like Mr. Ronaldo's behaviour on the pitch (and overall) one bit. A terrific athlete and goalscorer, but that's it in my opinion. I was looking to see if it was worth mentioning in his article, but before you ask, I think situations like these should be mentioned in ALL sportspeople's article, not just Ronaldo's.
Best wishes to you, alles gut and happy editing --84.90.219.128 (talk) 16:25, 16 February 2016 (UTC)

{{Div col}} for one or two goalscorers
Hello, Kante4. I want ask one question for you. Why you delete {{Div col}} for one or two goalscorers? GAV80 (talk) 21:01, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
I think that need add {{Div col}} for all number of goalscorers because it is easy do edit for other users: need only move goalscorers from one number of goals to other number of goals, without adding new {{Div col}} if change from 1 or 2 to other number of goals. GAV80 (talk) 21:13, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
But there is a difference for two goalscorers. If with {{Div col}} then 2 columns, if without {{Div col}} then only one column. GAV80 (talk) 21:31, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
Let's ask other users what they think about it. GAV80 (talk) 21:36, 9 March 2016 (UTC)
2016 IIHF World Championship Division III scoring list
Hey. I noticed that you changed the scoring list I added for the tournament to one that is slightly different. I copied the one used for the 2016 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships, seeing as how it both has the rankings for the various players and is more compacted and just looks better overall in my opinion. There any reason why you changed that to the current one? I personally find that knowing the actual place of the players is kind of more relevant than what position they are (as most all are forwards), and the compactness and links to their national teams seems better to have. And in general having one standard format for the various tournaments seems like a logical thing to do. Kaiser matias (talk) 20:02, 3 April 2016 (UTC)
- I did take a look at some others, and that's why I note there's more than one style used, and feel it should be standardized. I don't really see the relevance of noting position, as like I said almost all are forwards (its now moved up to two defenceman for today). And I would not say I'm the only one going for alternative styles considering, like I said, I copied one from the World Juniors article, which I did not create. I still feel noting the respective players place is relevant, which all these omit for some reason. Kaiser matias (talk) 20:59, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

promotion-relegation rules
Have you read this? It says that if Germany and France finish 7th and 8th in their group this year then only one team will be relegated, and only one team will be promoted from Division I. Took me by surprise.18abruce (talk) 22:26, 22 April 2016 (UTC)

Brackets
Hi, I just saw that in the olypic articles you updated you used the "new" round module instead of older seeding templates. I was just wondering if this should be done everywhere for consistency, or if we should use the older version which included team seeding. For example your version [1], versus the old version with seeding [2]. Let me know what you think. Qed237 (talk) 16:23, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, agreed. Lets go with the new version. My main goal is consistency. Also I have been adding tables and brackets to the main sports articles. I think some information should exists there (not details such as matches though). Qed237 (talk) 16:43, 26 April 2016 (UTC)
Just have a question out of curiosity. When I was looking to create a new submodule to Module:Sports table to use for Volleyball (see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Volleyball where I have examples of how it currently looks), I spotted something else. At Volleyball at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament we have match templates for the matches, while at Volleyball at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's tournament we only have at wikitable for showing results. Why the difference between genders? Should we not have same at both? Also Is there something that exists in the match-templates that does not exists in the wikitable, except referee and attendance? They both seems to show very similar information which is the set-by-set result. Perhaps both should have the wikitable and then individual group and knockout stage articles with the matches just like football? Qed237 (talk) 14:12, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Also, why list a new set on a new row and not do it like hockey or other sports that has parts in parenthesis. Compare Template:Volleyballbox with Template:IceHockeybox which looks much cleaner. Qed237 (talk) 14:16, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- I have no problem with that, but wouldn't it be better then to use the matchtemplate like the hockeytemplate instead of making new rows that does not contain much info. Qed237 (talk) 14:26, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
A bunch of questions now, sorry. This should be the last one for a while. I saw you used Template:dts for the dates in Template:2016 Summer Olympics men's field hockey game A1 while in footballboxes in diferent competitions I have seen Template:Start date being introduced instead. Is not "Start date"-template more appropriate in this case? If so, how to we do with the passed variable? Qed237 (talk) 15:53, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- I am just not sure how to adjust the passed variable as it is
|df=y
or|df=yes
in Template:Start date for dates first (should be default), while nothing should be passed to df when the df in Template:2016 Summer Olympics men's field hockey game A1 is set to "mdy". Qed237 (talk) 19:49, 27 April 2016 (UTC)
- Okay, I made a "hack" now with an ifeq-statement. If the matchtemplate is called with
|df=mdy
it displays "August 6, 2016" otherwise "6 August 2016". This is the only two formats in Template:Start date, but should be enough. Qed237 (talk) 22:16, 27 April 2016 (UTC)

Serial disruptive editor ignoring everything I've said. I've no issue when consensus is reached in talkpage, this user isn't interested in consensus. Mourinho (who was chased out the door with just one la liga) is being promoted in the Real Madrid article way above what he warrants. Fürth template
When changing a template like the Template:Fb team Fürth it's a good idea to check first in what articles it is used in. The specific one is for season articles before the clubs name change and merger with TSV Vestenbergsgreuth in 1996. Template:Fb team Greuther Fürth exists for the seasons after the merger and was used in, for example, 2015–16 2. Bundesliga article. I've made the necessary changes in 2016–17 2. Bundesliga. 2016 FIBA U-17 World Championship edits
1)Regarding your recent edits, I undid the changes you made. I think the way you changed it to makes it not as organized and more cluttered. Having four brackets consecutively like you had it makes it look very chaotic in my opinion. With all those classification games having to be played, I think its just easier to make a winning braket/loser bracket, given that the classification games really aren't that important, so why not group them all together and make it more organized? I appreciate your edits though, keep up the good work!
2)It does make sense when its as simple and binary as Winning bracket and Losing bracket. But okay, I'll change it to where there in chronological order: R16 bracket>R16>9th-16th classification>QF>5th-8th classification>SF>Final classification games>3rd place>Final

Hi there KANTE, from Portugal (we have met before but with my anon IP and a former account),
I don't think this guy should have the 2016 UEFA Super Cup honour, he was not even in squad. Same for Pepe, Bale, Ronaldo and Kroos. However, I am not going to remove anything, just pointing it out.
Continue the great work, cheers --Be Quiet AL (talk) 14:22, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- I am not that all convinced, I am going to start a WP:FOOTY discussion, let's see how that turns out. --Be Quiet AL (talk) 14:52, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
According to practically all the opinions at the discussion, I think honour needs to go (someone mentioned there that Bale, Kroos and Navas were included in the official squad despite not travelling, but only those three players), but I will not remove anything out of respect for your work, I leave it to your judgement. --Be Quiet AL (talk) 20:54, 10 August 2016 (UTC)
- So, you think they should stay in spite of the feedback? Fair enough. --Be Quiet AL (talk) 14:28, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
I understand you completely, but fortunately (or unfortunately), opinions change like the wind here on WP:FOOTY, and right now more people seem to be opposed to the inclusion. But don't worry I repeat it, I won't remove anything. --Be Quiet AL (talk) 14:56, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
- You can embrace WP:BOLD and remove it yourself, I will not do it because it would seem disrespectful towards your work. The only player from Madrid that I edit regularly that has the wrong honour is Coentrão, the others I have never edited in ten years (Bale, Ronaldo, Kroos) or have edited regularly but have already "abandoned" them (Pepe, Ramos, Navas). --Be Quiet AL (talk) 15:24, 11 August 2016 (UTC)
Now, I am getting the same crap in Álvaro Morata, regarding the 2015 Supercoppa Italiana (he was injured, as reference #33 explains us). If the user - which I have messaged - reverts me again, screw it, I leave the (wrong) honour be! --Be Quiet AL (talk) 21:03, 12 August 2016 (UTC)
Men's Field Hockey at Rio
India has also advanced from Group B to Quarterfinals because Ireland takes on Argentina in the last game in the group and so only one of them can finish ahead of India in the best case scenario for them. This means India is guaranteed a top four finish even if it loses the final match against Canada. How does one edit the table?
