Anterior pole moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Anterior pole, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. New articles generally need at least two (but preferably more) references from reliable sources that are independent of the subject that discuss the subject with significant coverage (trivial mentions do not contribute to notability).(See Rule 42) Information that can't be referenced to reliable sources should be removed from the draft because verifiability is necessary for information added to Wikipedia.
I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of Draft: before the article title) where you can work on the article with minimal disruption from other users while you improve it.
When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready to be published, you can move it back to the article space yourself. However, I recommend that instead of moving it yourself that you follow the prompts on the Articles for Creation template that I have added to the page. This submits the article to be reviewed by experienced editors that specialize in helping new editors write their first articles. — InsertCleverPhraseHere (or here) 01:04, 26 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

  Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, please note that there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Deviating from this style disturbs uniformity among articles and may cause readability or accessibility problems. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Please read the Manual of Style pertaining to images at MOS:Images. Edits to DNA

edit

Hi, Kalli navya! I've reverted your image additions at DNA because I didn't believe there was sufficient context for them, and too many images can be quite distracting – see MOS:PERTINENCE. Images are useful in illustrating material within an article, but they should be used carefully! – Rhinopias (talk) 22:14, 25 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest

edit

  Hello, Kalli navya. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the article Make A Difference, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. Editing for the purpose of advertising or promotion is not permitted. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. GermanJoe (talk) 10:46, 4 December 2017 (UTC)Reply

Book spamming

edit

Your addition of references to the World Book annual science supplement, 2012, in multiple articles constitutes book spamming. I am accordingly reverting all such insertions that have not already been reverted. Please do not spam references again. - Donald Albury 11:44, 3 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
