License tagging for Image:Tannot Root Farscape.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Tannot Root Farscape.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 19:13, 28 October 2006 (UTC)

Pardon Lucas, he goofed (though if he hadn't, I would have). It's easy to mistake the adding of "ominoooooous hummmmmmm" (or whatever it is) as vandalism. -Patstuart(talk)(contribs) 05:16, 2 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Goldschlager Article

edit

I believe the following sentence from the Goldschlager article was written by you: This reaction is typically known to physicians as "gold fever." We have tagged it as being unverified. If you could please find verification or remove the unverified statement, it would be appreciated. Thanks! CKnapp 04:15, 26 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Inuyasha (character)

edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. You are free to edit any pages that you can. However, when making such big changes to articles like Inuyasha (character) it is generally a good idea to seek a concensus at the discussion page. Your additions appear to be extra commentary on his characteristics, which have already been mentioned in fewer words.

Thank you,

Girl Genius

Dear Kalaong,

This is, obviously, over half a year overdue, but I was working on the Wikia at the time of your edits.

Although I understand your enthusiasm and appreciate your energy, I just spent about three hours removing your misquotes, blatantly un-canonical assumptions and poor structure from the GG article. Please read your source material far more carefully in the future. Exemplia gratis: There is no 'Tarvek, Prince Aaronev VII', Aaronev was his father's name. Two sentences of Zeetha and one of Krosp are far more informative than five overstuffed paragraphs on Lucrezia and Agatha's putative romances. Klaus Wulfenbach is not inferior to his son, he loathes the Heterodyne Boys books and is not obsessed with cutting into people's brains. He IS a construct, we don't know the circumstances. And for Goddess's sake, the wings are just wings, they're not symbolising the Pax Wulfenbach or anybody's alliance with anybody.

Atlas Shrugged reception

edit

Relax. It's my understanding that the movie is a coup in Hollywood, and most of the establishment isn't giving it a fair shake. And that sucks. However, Wiki policy explicitly shoots down the inclusion of user rating poll numbers, and specifically names RT and Metacritic as examples of what's not cool. When and if CinemaScore or similar figures come out for the movie--not to mention the box office and per-screen earnings--in mainstream media, we'll throw them in the article, and you and I can feel good knowing that justice has been done, and within Wiki policy to boot. -Digiphi (Talk) 23:18, 16 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
