Lalandia edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Lalandia, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of Lalandia. Fair use rationale for Image:Atletion.gif edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Atletion.gif. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sdrtirs (talk) 04:08, 15 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

EURO 2016 edit

Hi! Is this reference talking about a joint bid with Sweden or a single bid? As far as I know Sweden desided to go with Norway becouse Norway have said they will build a new nationalstadium in Oslo with 50 000 seats and expand Lerkendal stadion in Trondheim to 40 000 seats.--Kjello0 19:00, 17 June 2008 (UTC)

Quick question edit

Hi Kalaha. A quick question - is the Danish 1st Division fully professional, or are there semi-pro clubs in it? Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 14:14, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

It's more the semi-pro ones I'm interested in - what's the divide between fully pro, semi-pro and amateur? Cheers, пﮟოьεԻ 57 20:11, 28 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I've changed the TV column to be optional, because lots of other articles doesn't require it. I also have fixed F.C._Copenhagen_season_2008-09#Competitive to comply with that. I hope that is OK. Regards. --ClaudioMB (talk) 15:46, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Template:Fb cm3 match edit

I didn't know it, but someone had already included that feature in the template, but it was not documented. I made some changes and documented it. The person who made the change used HC and AC, but I don't know what C stands for (I asked him). I used HR (home replacement) and AR (away replacement), but if you know a better way to explain it to readers, please, let me know.--ClaudioMB (talk) 13:34, 16 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image copyright problem with Image:Lyngby BK.png edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Lyngby BK.png. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Anonymous user - Edit summaries edit

Hi there KALAHA, VASCO here,

I noticed you sent anonymous user 85.81.1.138 a message about edit summaries (in his case lack of). I also noticed the following: Other that he writes ZERO, absolutely NONE summaries (it's not once or twice or even 10 times), he also has the custom of the following:

In football articles (nearly 100% of his edits), he has the tendency to removed geographic details in players' pages. For instance, a given player is said to have been born in Barcelona, Catalonia. Well, he removes Catalonia just because, that's just an example.

Here is a list of his "contributions": (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/85.81.1.38) I also noticed he does not respond to messages whatsoever. Could it be a lack of knowledge of the language? In such case, i sent him a message in Spanish (which i believe, according to the vast majority of his football edits, to be his mother tongue).

Nothing more for the moment, happy weekend and 2009, from PORTUGAL,

VASCO AMARAL - --217.129.67.28 (talk) 14:32, 2 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

  • No problem here whatsoever, i most probably overreacted: I sent him a message in SPANISH (most likely his language because of his edits) and, although he did not respond, he immediately collaborated in this article.

My apologies (to them and you), VASCO AMARAL - --217.129.67.28 (talk) 21:40, 3 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

If Andrei Arshavin were to sign with Arsenal, which will likely happen, and he already played for Zenit St. Petersburg in the Champions League this season, would he still be eligible to play for Arsenal in the knockout stages of the Champions League? – Michael (talk) 16:05, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Source(s) for goalscorers in Danish Superliga 2008-09 needed edit

Hi Kalaha,

first of all, thanks a lot for your work on Danish Superliga 2008–09, especially with all those goalscorers. However, there is a minor issue existing. Is there a reliable source for the complete list? I'm asking this because there has been some trouble lately over at the Serbian Superliga 2008–09 article. A couple of anon editors were edit warring about details in a list similar to the one on the Danish article, but with one fundemental difference - there exists no source at all. As a result, the number of goals in the table (307) is not in tune with the number of goals credited for all scorers (304), so I had to issue a warning on the talk page about WP:V and its consequences. All of this would certainly not have happened if there had been a reliable source.

So, in order to prevent those... I don't know how to call them... from arguing "But there is also a unsourced list of scorers on the Danish article, yet it goes unsanctioned" - could you please add one (or, if necessary, more) source(s) to your list? Ideally, it should be something similar to this (German Bundesliga) from either the Belgian association or another reliable source.

Once again, keep up the good work! Cheers, Soccer-holicI hear voices in my head... 21:33, 12 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries edit

Ok, thanks for notification. I admit I'm lazy when it comes to edit summaries, but it's tiring to always write it when you have 35+ leagues per weekend to update. However, I will try to fill it more oftenly. Bye! :) SonjiCeli (talk) 18:53, 14 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Opinion welcomed edit

Soccer-holic and I are trying to improve league articles in general, especially when talking about colors used in league standings. We are thinking that codes (colors) should be unified and used in the same way in all articles. So take a look at this Soccer-holic's subpage: User:Soccer-holic/League season article, which explains parts which every league articles should consist of, as well as using the colors in the right order and code. Please leave your comments and improvements (if needed) so we can take the final proposal to the community on Wikipedia:WikiProject Football.

EDIT: Please post your comments here. SonjiCeli (talk) 15:18, 20 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
