Proposed deletion of Waluigi (disambiguation) edit

Hello, Kaithehedgefox. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, Waluigi (disambiguation), for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this:
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Proposed deletion of Sonic (given name) edit

The article Sonic (given name) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

"Sonic Man" is not mentioned in List of Mega Man characters, and the first word sounds like an adjective rather than a name. Without that entry, there is only one character with this name, which does not justify having this page at all.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. Speedy deletion nomination of Sonic (given name) edit

A tag has been placed on Sonic (given name) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G6 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an orphaned disambiguation page which either

  • disambiguates two or fewer extant Wikipedia pages and whose title ends in "(disambiguation)" (i.e., there is a primary topic); or
  • disambiguates no (zero) extant Wikipedia pages, regardless of its title.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such pages may be deleted at any time. Please see the disambiguation page guidelines for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. ‡ Єl Cid of ᐺalencia ᐐT₳LKᐬ 01:17, 20 August 2017 (UTC)Reply

Frivolous/potentially offensive redirects edit

Hey there, as you can see from the messages on your talk page, I have nominated several of the redirects you created for deletion. I'd like to take a moment to invite you to have a look over Wikipedia:Redirect, our guideline on why and how we create redirects, especially WP:RPURPOSE, the section on reasons to create a redirect. I noticed a lot of the redirects you created aren't really consistent with our guidelines. "Kid Fattening Center" isn't an appropriate, alternate, widely-used nickname for KFC, and doesn't really fit with the encyclopedic tone we try to set with Wikipedia. Same with "V-guy" redirecting to Voldemort—that is not a widely-recognized name for him. "One Crapnificent Morning" redirecting to One Magnificent Morning is another example; I couldn't find any instances of that term outside of Wikipedia, and Wikipedia is not for things that have just been made up. I'd really urge you to take a look at the guidelines and essays I linked in this message to get a better sense of what does and doesn't belong on the Wikipedia project. If you have any questions, feel free to type Cymru.lass in front of your reply below so I'll get a notification. cymru.lass (talkcontribs) 23:20, 8 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I apologize for my vandalism that I did this year. I regret creating all those useless redirects. However, I understand why I merit to be blocked. But I swear to never repeat my vandalism ever again. I originally came to wikipedia to make minor improvements, such as fixing spelling errors. Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • If you have trouble choosing an article to improve, see this index of articles needing improvement for ideas. Once you have decided on the article you will propose improvements to:
    1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
    2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
      • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
      • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
      • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
    3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
    4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
    5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), add the following template to the end of your prose: reflist-talk. Once you have added the template, click Publish changes.
  • Now, edit that content. Propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 09:46, 20 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
