Brace yourself...

Ok here's the goofy canned greeting: Hello there! Welcome to Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Also: you can play and experiment all you want in the Sandbox. Welcome, and Happy editing!

Ok, now you can breathe. Your edits at Pikaia seem to indicate you are off to a good start. Also, you should sign your talk page edits with this --> --~~~~ Cheers! --DanielCD 20:46, 13 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kai, Glad to see you're on board here on wikipedia - the 9/11 pages need you! I've been trying to recruit people onto here to help but have a hard time getting people interested. You know me, but I'd rather not put my name on here. I live in Alameda with someone else you know. You tried to get them a job . . . - Bov 21:57, 10 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kai, I saw your mention of Noam Chomsky and thought you might be interested in reading this article. If nothing else it's very interesting. Whatever you might think about some of the material in the article, it is possible that this is how Chomsky actually decides what is worth researching and what isn't.Chomsky Talk to ya later. Thanks for your efforts on the 'psuedoscience' issue. I haven't had time for the discussion on this but it seems like just the latest effort to try to discredit. Bov 19:41, 3 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up Kai, looks like you took care of it. A good way to keep track of all the changes is to go here and click on 'related changes' at the top and it lists all the changes made each day. Then you go through and see what needs to be . . . looked at. See you tonight? Bov 22:16, 23 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello there. I thought you might want to check out this list of AFD's in case you weren't aware of them. Have a fun weekend! [1] SkeenaR 06:08, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks! I didn't know what an AFD was. Now I know. I'm also looking at the link Bov gave me. Kaimiddleton 07:14, 26 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

9/11 Truth Movement Page edit

Hi Kai, I added some images, so it looks a little better. I also noticed a bunch of little bizarre statements inserted into the text. Given that we know what's coming down the pike, it would be good to keep track of this page's contents. Bov 19:35, 3 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kai: Just a note to commend you on your excellent post regarding those who are hungry for deletion of this page. Constructive content is the whole point of the encyclopedia, I agree, and I have had much of my 9/11 content sniped at and deleted by the destructive actions you describe. It might be a good idea to copy your comments (with minor modification) over to the "Scholars for 9/11 Truth" page, which is also up for deletion. I think it may be the Zogby poll that has brought this editing war into further intensity this week. Sincerely, --PureLogic 20:58, 24 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: Crossing the Rubicon edit

Hello, Kai. My involvement in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Crossing the Rubicon (Ruppert) was only to close the AfD after the usual five-day time period for discussion and delete the article after determining that the consensus was to do so. I'd gladly comply if you would like me to restore the content of the article into your userspace for you to work on. Some helpful pages on this are Wikipedia:Deletion policy, Wikipedia:Undeletion policy, and Wikipedia:Deletion process; still, another option is to use Wikipedia:Deletion review.

I'm glad you're thinking of joining Esperanza; your presence would be most welcome. :) Regards, Sango123 15:32, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ackermann numbers edit

I noticed that the original HTML had the numbers ascending to the left, but when I looked at all the other examples of tetration to do the latex, the numbers ascended to the right, so I figured it was a typo or something. Personally, the only thing I know about tetration is what I read in order to understand the notation. --Carl (talk|contribs) 21:50, 14 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2018 election voter message edit

Hello, Kaimiddleton. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
