Origins and Authenticity edit

Hey, just read your comments on the discussion page for the Old Tunes article, and I was wondering if you could, in any way, corroborate that information with any kind of links or other references... Thanks. - Nö†$®åM 05:30, 25 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi There. What kind of thing would you like me to add? It's a case of I knew them and I was handed a copy of the tape. I know former associates' testimony isn't exactly encyclopaedic but that does not mean it's not true. You could just reference a former friend of the band confirmed that the tape is genuine. Well at least the packaging is. :)
Mike and Marcus are fiercely guarded about certain things, I mean, the tapes were just a bit of fun, after all, and I don't want them hastling me about giving away "secrets". Pfff. Secrets, my butt.
The only thing I can do to confirm the tape is genuine is to take more pics with a newer date or something to prove it, but it's identical to the one shown already. Let me know what kind of thing you need and I'll see if I can help. Oh, and it's not for sale. :) It's a reminder of my childhood. :) KToiBalToi (talk) 20:16, 25 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
More pictures would always be nice :P, but it's truly up to you what you feel comfortable doing. I wouldn't ever ask someone who posseses such a rarity to photograph it or do anything they didnt want to with it, so it's up to you with those photos. I'm attempting to corroborate the Louise Campbell photo with Peter Iain Campbell (it remains to be seen how far I'll really get with that though...), and I've updated a bit of the Old Tunes article to reflect your information. Thanks for the information, and be well. - Nö†$®åM 20:45, 26 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
