I see you have information given to you in person by the subject of this article. That's good to have. The challenge with Wikipedia is that it doesn't much 'care' about truth, only about cited facts that are cited in reliable sources. Word of mouth from the person concerned is not usually considered reliable, a paradox. However, one can see the point were it to be a self publicity issue (this is patently not one).
