Thanks for uploading Image:Galveston west end (21).jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Speedy deletion of Image:Robert M Polich.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Robert M Polich.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. NowCommons: File:Twin Cities Tragedy.pdf edit

File:Twin Cities Tragedy.pdf is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:Tragedy In the Twin Cities - USCG.pdf. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 16:03, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Robert M. Polich Sr. edit

The article Robert M. Polich Sr. has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

low ranking officer, awards are not sufficiently high, no coverage that would establish GNG

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Image source problem with File:Mallo at council.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Mallo at council.jpg.

This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.

While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.

If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F4 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 11:28, 20 May 2022 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. plicit 11:28, 20 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
