Request reason:

* Thank you for your time.
* I'm trying to convince you that the block is no longer necessary, the fault is mine for interacting with User Ian.thomson
* I am guilty of making 3 changes to the G. Edward Griffin page:
  * I removed a citation, that does not discuss G. Edward Griffin, or his works
  * I updated known for meta-data
  * I included a Bibliography, from a former revision. The Bibliography included a full list of ISBNs
* I was warned not to roll back, after that, I moved all further discussion to the talk page
* User Ian.thomson accused me of being a member of the right wing John Birch Society. This does not make any sense at all.
* I am a 2008 elected Hillary Clinton Democratic National Convention Delegate
* I'm new to Wikipedia, as a content contributor
* He indicated this is a "decades long battle", he is involved in
   * I want nothing to do with his "decades long battle"
* I've donated to Wikipedia in the past
* I will **ignore this user going forward**, and promise to not interact with him; he found my account and pounced; I made the mistake of responding to a bully.
*
*
* Update: You can see that Ian.thomson responded, making it clear, that I will not be reinstated and if so, it will not be possible to ignore him.
   * That is the definition of online bullying
   * You can clearly read the spirit of his response, its not constructive. It can be characterized as punitive
*

Decline reason:

Well, first of all, donating to Wikipedia has no relevance to anything being discussed here. I also don't care what political party you belong to. Second, you're not quite new. You only made a few dozen edits, but you used another account several years ago to create a page about your own Ruby library. Finally – and most relevant to this block – you've stated above that you have no interest in following our site's policies if you find content that conflicts with your beliefs ("If I'm ever reinstated, I will continue to abuse the rule"). You're welcome to believe whatever you want, but if you want to use our website, you have to play by our rules. That means using dispute resolution. You might also want to read Wikipedia:Tendentious editing, which is essentially what you're accused of. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 22:14, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
