Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames that give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, your account has been blocked; you are welcome to create a new account with a username that represents only you. You should also read our conflict of interest guideline. If your username doesn't represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. this is a personal account, and why am I blocked? look at my edit history and you will see that there has never been any use of my jws account since the beginning of wikipedia. contact me here immediately with some reason for this unreasonable action

After the blocking admin's response, I still do not see what could be the basis for this block, and am undoing it. Sorry for the trouble.  Sandstein  22:43, 29 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

As a block reviewer, I do not understand this block. The username does not sound in the least promotional. Having a website with one's name does not make a username with one's initials promotional. I am considering unblocking this user and am requesting comment by the blocking admin.  Sandstein  06:04, 29 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

this has wasted a huge amount of my time. I was in the middle of a fairly large update of one of my computer articles, and I had to descend into this muck about blocking, of which I never heard of from someone who left me no clues how to respond. please unblock this asap, as I have updates to post.

If this is how Wikipedia is going to work it is doomed.
