Topic: Cornell's social media lab
New/Improve: New
Feasibility: Good
Scope: You might also want to add bout the history of how it was created (interview Jeff Hancock about this), its influence on the academic world, and relations with other academic labs. I noticed there isn't a page for Jeff Hancock.

Friendly advice... edit

Hello, I'm a Wikipedia admin and thought I'd lend some advice, given the class project you're engaged in. I don't think an article about the Social Media Lab is very promising, since it likely is not notable (see WP:N). I think you're idea to expand Collegetown is a good one; although, if you're serious about starting an article from scratch and don't want it to get deleted while you are in process of writing and research, you should first compose the article in your own space (perhaps User:Jwormser/Collegetown), then copy and paste it to the mainspace when it's ready for scrutiny by the community -- this is a living encyclopedia! If you need other ideas, you may consult Wikipedia:WikiProject Cornell University. Welcome to Wikipedia! —Eustress talk 00:54, 4 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
