I teach Physics and Astronomy at Hampden-Sydney College, and I am particularly interested in the pedagogy of Electromagnetism.

I would really like it if someone would write a nice article about the history of pole model of magnetism. It is so important to our understanding of why we use outdated notation and solve problems in particular ways.
