Are you really comparing King of the Cage to UFC, Strikeforce, DREAM, etc. (Justinsane15 (talk) 04:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC))

Why did you revert my edit?

Why did you revert my edit on the MMA weight class champions. By removing WEC? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ghost563 (talkcontribs) 03:45, 4 October 2010 (UTC)

Why have you reverted my weight class page contributions?

These meet all of the standards for inclusion. They are properly sourced, written from a neutral point of view, and add to the information contained on and available through the page. Please explain.(Gravity 76 (talk) 16:07, 22 October 2010 (UTC))

Can you please give me some guidelines or suggestions for how I could better frame the information I provided? As I indicated before, the material is a legitimate contribution which enriches the page. It is factual, neutral, and does not duplicate any other information on the page. I would be happy to rephrase any portions of the writing to better adhere to these standards, but I do not believe that the information itself (as opposed to the form of its presentation) warrants deletion. Should it be in a different section, or drafted in a different manner? I look forward to hearing from you.(Gravity 76 (talk) 00:10, 23 October 2010 (UTC))

Thanks for your message Justinsane15. I've gone through the standards you linked me to and will do my best to adhere to them. Please let me know if you have any more thoughts; I may try again with the weight class contributions in the near future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Gravity 76 (talkcontribs) 21:23, 25 October 2010 (UTC)

Waachiim Spiritwolf

Hi, i edit Waachiim Spiritwolf article, and add his record, you can add location of events mountaineer1976

Hi! There is also an article for Waachiim spirit wolf, who seems to be the same person as Waachiim Spiritwolf. Would you get together with the principal author of the other article, User:Wwefantyler4, to determine which article will be merged into which? Thanks. JimCubb (talk) 23:47, 7 February 2011 (UTC)

Hello, in the interest of not getting blocked over WP:3RR, WP:WAR, or WP:CIVIL, you may want to get some more opinions at WT:MMA. I'll add my opinion if you start a topic there. —LOL T/C 11:57, 6 December 2010 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Bellator 42

The article Bellator 42 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

WP:CRYSTAL - Article about an event to happen in the future & WP:ADVERT - As this article is nothing more then an advertisement for that event

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Enfcer (talk) 22:31, 2 March 2011 (UTC)

ShoMMA edits

Hi. I noticed you've been changing the Satoshi Ishii fight coming up on the ShoMMA site from Light Heavyweight to Heavyweight.... I left a message on the talk page of that article saying that I was able to confirm from Strikeforce's own website that this fight will be contested at 205 lbs, which is the Light Heavyweight division for Strikeforce. I am unsure why you are changing it back to Heavyweight. Can you give me a source for why it should be a heavyweight fight? If I don't hear back in 24 hours, I will be changing it back to Light Heavyweight. Thanks. Dachknanddarice (TC) 18:22, 5 March 2011 (UTC)

My apologies. I'm still new to this and forgot to change the reference. I will make sure to do so in the future and will also check to make sure it's done on that page now. Thanks again for getting back to me. Dachknanddarice (TC) 17:23, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

DREAM Bantamweight GP

No problem about the changes as I understand the chaos usually involved with Japanese MMA promotions and their titles. MMAJunkie is now referring to it as DREAM.17, so maybe it should be changed to that for consistency? http://mmajunkie.com/news/23307/dream-17-matchups-set-for-2011-japan-bantamweight-grand-prix-opening-round.mma Udar55 (talk) 14:39, 20 April 2011 (UTC)

MOS:CONSISTENCY

I see that you cited MOS:CONSISTENCY for this edit, but that section reads, "formatting choices should be consistent within a Wikipedia article, though not necessarily throughout Wikipedia as a whole" (emphasis added). No other heading in that article has the word "Televised", so clearly MOS:CONSISTENCY doesn't help you. In addition, being consistent and complying with MoS is far better than being consistent and violating MoS. —LOL T/C 20:11, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

I believe the problem with what you cited here is that no guideline was actually established regarding headings for UFC events; somebody just started an article that violated MoS, and the same bad format was being continuously copypasted to the next event. This is why the capitalization of "Card" is so inconsistent; it's only lowercase where a MoS-savvy editor cared enough to correct it. At any rate, since you wouldn't object to having all UFC events comply with the MoS, I'll do just that. Thanks. —LOL T/C 20:49, 14 June 2011 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Strawweight (MMA) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Hi

Hello. I see you made a few changes in UFC 151 and UFC 148.

  • was considered [...] - The Silva/Sonnen second bout is considered by many analysts as the most highly anticipated fight in the history of the sport.
  • [[Category:Scheduled mixed martial arts events]] - UFC 151 was in fact scheduled by the organisation, so it became the first officially announced UFC event to be cancelled.

Thanks for your edits. Happy Editing!
