Margaret or Meg Keneally? edit

You linked [1][2] to Margaret Keneally, but she appears to be better known as Meg, so possibly the requested (linked-to) article should be Meg Keneally (per WP:COMMONNAME, WP:NICKNAME)? Obviously we should have redirect as well, but the question comes up because I was going to add her to Kenneally, and that page should link to the intended article title. Mitch Ames (talk) 05:19, 7 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Sure, she is listed as both Margaret and Meg on Thomas Keneally's page but I've updated the red-links on that page and on the Parramatta Female Factory site to be for Meg Keneally instead of Margaret so once I or someone else get around to making a page it's under Meg. Women in Red edit

Hi there, Jupitercowsodacherry, and welcome to Women in Red. Given your interest in historical women and archaeology you should be a useful member of the project. I see you are interested in the Australian author Meg Keneally. If you decide to create her biography, you should first look through some of our essays, perhaps starting with the Primer. You'll see it's important to source biographies from reliable secondary sources such as recognized newspapers, critical assessments and accounts of awards rather than from primary sources directly related to the subject. Let me know if you start a draft and I'll try to help you along. Happy editing!--Ipigott (talk) 07:14, 7 November 2023 (UTC)Reply
