August 2019 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for advertising or promotion. From your contributions, this seems to be your only purpose.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  MER-C 10:19, 24 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I believe, I was mistakenly blocked for making edits containing advertising purposes. I am a decent user and know the Wikipedia rules, so did not mean to do something for what I was blocked. The page I created supposed to be just an informative page about the company, not advertising. It was my first contribution, that is why I probably made inappropriate changes or contribution. I promise of not doing something that could create such suspicions again. In the meantime, I do think I made Wikipedia better by creating good edits. Please review by unblocking request.JuliaMankovskaya (talk) 07:18, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Creating "an informative page about the company" is considered promotional on Wikipedia, as Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. Wikipedia has articles about subjects shown with significant coverage in independent reliable sources to meet Wikipedia's special definition of notability(in this case, that of a notable organization). You will need to review conflict of interest and paid editing and (after being unblocked) make the required disclosures. To be unblocked, you will need to agree to not edit subjects related to your conflict of interest and tell what subjects you will edit about instead. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 07:39, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

@331dot: Thank you for your reply. In order not to violate the rules and not to participate in the subjects that are considered to be my conflict of interest, I agree not to edit such pages. The subjects I will edit instead will be about Languages and literature, Formal and Applied Sciences. Please let me know what should I do with the article I submitted - should I delete it or other editors will deal with it? JuliaMankovskaya (talk) 05:19, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

I have deleted the draft, so no one else will need to worry about it. MER-C, do you oppose an unblock here? 331dot (talk) 11:07, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
No. MER-C 15:20, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
Julia, I have removed the block per your agreement to not make edits related to your conflict of interest. If you have any questions, please ask; either another user personally, or the Help Desk or Teahouse. You may find it useful to use the new user tutorial(though it is by no means required). 331dot (talk) 23:31, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Draft:Daxx edit

If this was the first article that you created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

The page Draft:Daxx has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seemed to be unambiguous advertising which only promoted a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to have been fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Please do not recreate the material without addressing these concerns, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you think this page should not have been deleted for this reason, or you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 331dot (talk) 11:07, 28 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
