Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, JulesMST. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Mulberry School for Girls, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for article subjects for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Tacyarg (talk) 09:09, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Hi Tacyarg. I wasn't aware of this so really grateful that you have brought this to my attention. However, the page is out of date and incorrect (for example the Headteacher information is wrong and the CEO is still very much part of the school). I was trying to update it with important, factual information. What is the best way of doing this please? I work for the Trust that oversees Mulberry School for Girls. Hi, thanks for your message here and on my Talk page. Yes, the URLs were the main reason I reverted your changes. I can see you have made the edits again without the external links so I will leave the updated info in place. Do you have a reference for the East London Teaching School Hub? Thanks. Hi again Tacyarg. You've been really helpful. Can you let me know if the latest updates/citations are ok? If anything contravenes any policies do let me know so I can amend. Have a lovely day. JulesMST (talk) 11:39, 8 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Hi, thanks for your message. Your edits are factual and referenced so look fine to me. If you want to make any edits to the article in the future, anything else fairly simple, factual and sourced should be ok, but for anything more complicated it's best to request it on the article's Talk page using the edit COI template linked above. Thanks for sticking to policies! Tacyarg (talk) 18:00, 9 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
