AfD nomination of InterModule

I have nominated InterModule, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/InterModule. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. redirects

Could you not create a mass of redirects to your sourceforge project page? Ironholds 11:24, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

None at all, for the moment! Redirects are normally used for common spelling/grammar errors, or where an article about a subject is considered non-notable and so is redirected to the subject itself (i.e an unremarkable phpbb page redirecting to the phpbb page). For an example of the spelling/grammar thing; A page I created (Vespucci's Rodent) has a redirect from the page vespiccis rodent for people who dont put in the appropriate apostrophe. If you need any help with wikipedia editing, or want someone to check over pages for notability before you post them, feel free to drop me a line. Ironholds 11:30, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
..And I replied. I have it on my watchlist. Ironholds 11:35, 8 July 2008 (UTC)
When contributing in future, please try not to create pages you're personally involved in. As the policy says; "Wikipedia is not for things made up one afternoon". If it isn't a notable project, which you should've been able to see that this isn't, it shouldn't be included. Ironholds 11:42, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Comparison of JavaScript frameworks

In reply to your message on my talk page; the software is developed by Thomas Fuchs, a pioneer of among other things the ruby programming language, and gains an aspect of notability from that. I've told you not to try and redirect everything to your page, and advised you that said page is most likely going to be deleted, and that redirecting everything increases the work of other editors who have to clear up after you, so why, after all that, do you then proceed to add your piece of software to pages like "Comparison of JavaScript frameworks"? Two points

First, while you are allowed to blank your talkpage, it's best to archive it instead (drop me a line if you need to know how) so that there's a record (although it can be retrieved anyway by people with enough time). Second, you are not allowed to blank your comments on other people's talk pages, so please dont blank parts of my talkpage again. If you really want something removed at least ask permission first. Ironholds 11:15, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

You add an archive box (like the one at the top of my page), create a link to a blank user subpage and move the comments over. Would you like me to create one for you? Ironholds 11:22, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Excellent. And you dont need to create a new header every time you post on someones talkpage, either :P. I'll get right on it (in about an hour, gotta go to the gym). Ironholds 11:24, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
Ok, i've created it. And again, please dont create a new heading every time you post on my talk page, it makes it very awkward to read. Ironholds 14:18, 10 July 2008 (UTC)

..Another point

I asked you before to stop with the javascript frameworks comparison page. This doesn't translate to "just come back in a couple of days, I will have stopped paying attention". At least contribute to something on wikipedia not related to making your sourceforge project appear important. Ironholds 10:24, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

the AfD

It's got 4 delete votes in a row so far. Are you not going to withdraw the article and save us time, or are you just going to be selfish in a vague attempt to get publicity for your software. Ironholds 23:13, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

AfD nomination of InterModule

I have nominated InterModule, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/InterModule (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Juggernaut0102 (talk) 10:38, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

No, don't add a second AfD. Add the tag {{db-g7}} to the top of the requisite page. Ironholds 11:01, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Tanya Pettiford-Wates

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Tanya Pettiford-Wates, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.
