April 2019 edit

Hello, I'm Dl2000. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Hindu College, Delhi seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dl2000 (talk) 04:12, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  331dot (talk) 10:13, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

This is a clear legal threat and you must withdraw this, and agree to not make further legal threats, in order to be unblocked. Even if you are not going to take action yourself, you clearly intend to use legal action as a chilling effect on other editors. 331dot (talk) 10:16, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Dear Sir/Madam, Mr. Gulshan Kumar Bajwa is a Permanent Commissioned Officer in the 4th largest Armed Forces in the World, a 1971-War Veteran & a Senior Journalist, and has also been an Advocate-on-Record in Supreme Court of India with more than 30 years' legal practice; moreso, he is a friend of Hon'ble Justice Dalveer Bhandari (Hon'ble Member of International Court of Justice) and Shri Narendra Modi (Hon'ble Prime Minister of World's largest Democracy). Yet, without even an iota of proof, Dl2000 (an Agent of Wikipedia) edited the Profile of Hindu College (Delhi) to make an utterly false & mischievous allegation against Mr. Bajwa to the effect that the latter was 'involved in corruption'; when I gave him/ her a friendly advice that it amounts to a Criminal Offence, he/ she -- in collusion with 331dot -- in mala fide and colourable exercise of their powers blocked me from Editing. Moreso, they have also tempered with the History of the said web-page in order to destroy the evidence. I forwarded screenshots of the relevant web-pages to Mr. Bajwa, and he has asked me to send this Legal Notice on his behalf to both of you and, through you, also to Proprietors, Publishers & Editors of Wikipedia to the effect that knowingly making false accusations from a public platform like Wikipedia (which is viewable Globally, and was also viewed in Lucknow in India), destruction of evidence and screening any offender (i.e. if Wikipedia fails to disclose the true & full identities of Dl2000 & 331dot -- like names & addresses etc to the concerned Hon'ble Criminal Court or Investigating Agency in India) are criminal offences under the Indian Penal Code, and tempering with server-data is also a criminal offence under the IT Act 2000. Moreso, criminal defamation is also an offence against which compensation can be awarded. Hence, please take this Notice that if you fail to unconditional apologise for your acts and unblock me within two weeks from today, then Mr. Bajwa will be forced to initiate appropriate legal proceedings for awarding appropriate punishment and for an award of Rs.70 million against all of you in Lucknow (India) at your cost, risk & expense -- please note that it is your duty now to forward this Notice to the Proprietors, Publishers & Editors of Wikipedia. I am sending a screenshot of this Notice, too, to Mr. Bajwa for record. Yours Truly, Jugbaj (talk) 15:40, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Doubling down on legal threats after having been told about Wikipedia's relevant policy won't get you unblocked. Mr Bajwa is welcome to pursue legal means, and you are welcome to act as his agent in this regard, but you cannot edit Wikipedia at the same time. If Mr Bajwa or you want the Wikimedia Foundation to give you information on the identity of certain editors, you can find the relevant procedure here. In the meantime, I am revoking talk page access. You are welcome to make use of WP:UTRS when the legal action has concluded or you want to unequivocally withdraw all threats of legal action. Huon (talk) 16:08, 6 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
