Your edits edit
Sorry to have done this, but your edits didn't meet our guidelines and policies. Please read WP:VERIFY and WP:RS. We never use our own articles as sources. They change from time to time and in any case fail our criteria at WP:RS. You also used a personal website by someone unqualified in biblical studies (he says he has a Masters in Library Sciences) and who is a Creationist to make a statement of fact. That both fails our criteria and for the specific text you added is something we can't state as a fact. I'm afraid Wikipedia has a steep learning curve in some instanced. - As I said, you need to read WP:RS. But that's just a start. It isn't the sort of thing that should be worded as though it were a fact, so it should probably be attributed to the author. The author should probably be someone respected in his/her field. You need to read WP:NPOV also - if there are different opinions, they need to be shown proportionately to their 'significance' - which basically means the more reliable sources have mentioned an opinion, the more significance it has. At least as a rule of thumb. Then there's what we call original research, see WP:NOR - our articles are based on what reliable sources say about a subject, not our own research or observations. For some subjects this is simple, for the one you are writing about, it isn't. Doug Weller (talk) 20:34, 18 September 2015 (UTC)
- can't really comment on the article other than to say that too many of our articles don't meet our guidelines and policies. Doug Weller (talk) 07:59, 20 September 2015 (UTC)
