Proposed deletion of Tonari no Kashiwagi-san

edit

The article Tonari no Kashiwagi-san has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Does not meet notability guidelines at this time.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Proposed deletion of Nao Tamura

edit

The article Nao Tamura has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Style guide for lists of works (filmographies)

edit

Hi. Thanks for working on the Inori Minase article. I did however notice that some of your edits added boldface text for so-called leading roles, which has long been deprecated in Wikipedia articles, and also altered the format used for the dates (years) of works. I know a lot of voice actor articles still use this format, but if you could have a look through the style guidelines for filmographies at Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Lists of works#Filmographies and try and adhere to this format in future to maintain standardization, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. --DAJF (talk) 01:09, 25 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

World Trigger

edit

In future, when you do such content moves can you please do it differently.

First you deleted the content from the page. Then you made the target page a fairly long time after. What you should be doing is waiting until the page is created and then performing a move with an edit summary explaining where the content has moved. i.e. "Moved character section to link. Then on the target page you create/move to something like "Moved content from source page. This is the established way of performing these content moves and it's quite important that this is done for proper attribution.

In future please remember this. Not everyone will give you the benefit of the doubt to check like I did and might revert as vandalism.SephyTheThird (talk) 03:43, 15 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Shin-ichiro Miki a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut-and-paste-move repair holding pen. Thank you. Junichi Yanagita moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Junichi Yanagita, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Proposed deletion of Junichi Yanagita

Hello, Juandmarco,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Mcampany and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I’ve proposed an article that you started, Junichi Yanagita, for deletion because it meets one of the relevant criterion. The particular issue can be located in the notice, that is now-visible at the top of the article.

If you wish to prevent the deletion:

  1. Edit the page
  2. Remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. Click Publish Changes button.

But, please remember to explain why you think the article should be kept on the article's talk page and improve the page to address the raised issues. Otherwise, it may be deleted later by other means.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Mcampany}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!
