Kyle Loomis edit

Hi. The above article came to my attention due to your addition of him to the notable alumni list at Roseberg High School. Although I haven't yet, I will be rewriting the copy you added there. In a notable list, the only copy that should be included is the person's primary notability. The copy about his military service will never be appropriate there. As far as his football career, at this point what makes him notable was the multiple all American lists he made at PSU. Until he actually plays in a regular season game in the NFL, he is not notable for his pro career.

You need to improve the referencing on his article. I'll leave you instructions on how to properly code references later tonite. You need to add some newspaper stories regarding his college career, especially his all American status. Fyi...YouTube is not considered a reliable source. I formatted the existing references on the article. You need to cut and paste them right after the period on the sentence they are referencing. Same with new references you add. At this point, he is barely notable by Wikipedia standards. Please add references and copy to the article about his all American status, cause until he plays in the bigs, that's the only reason he's notable. Adding references can be easy edit

Just follow the steps 1, 2 and 3 as shown and fill in the details

Hello! Here's how to add references from reliable sources for the content you add to Wikipedia. This helps maintain the Wikipedia policy of verifiability.

Adding well formatted references is actually quite easy:

  1. While editing any article or a wikipage, on the top of the edit window you will see a toolbar which says "Cite". Click on it.
  2. Then click on "Templates".
  3. Choose the most appropriate template and fill in as many details as you can. This will add a well formatted reference that is helpful in case the web URL (or "website link") becomes inactive in the future.
  4. Click on Preview when you're done filling out the 'Cite (web/news/book/journal)' to make sure that the reference is correct.
  5. Click on Insert to insert the reference into your editing window content.
  6. Click on Show preview to Preview all your editing changes.
  • Before clicking on Save page, check that a References header   ==References==   is near the end of the article.
  • And check that   {{Reflist}}    is directly underneath that header.
7.  Click on Save page. ...and you've just added a complete reference to a Wikipedia article.

You can read more about this on Help:Edit toolbar or see this video File:RefTools.ogv.
Hope this helps, --John from Idegon (talk) 02:34, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Jasonvanderlaan.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Jasonvanderlaan.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Papillon Grand Canyon Helicopters requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. CSD tagging edit

Just a note, tagging something for CSD as "non-notable" as you did for AirStar Executive Airways (which I've PRODed) is not a valid tag. Articles just have to make a credible claim of notability (see: WP:A7) to avoid being speedily deleted, even if they might fail an AfD. ---- Patar knight - chat/contributions 21:15, 27 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Ways to improve List of Azusa Pacific University people edit

Hi, I'm Graeme Bartlett. Jtkapler, thanks for creating List of Azusa Pacific University people!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. A list should have an introduction to say what entries are included or could be added

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Proposed deletion of Ravn Alaska destinations edit

The article Ravn Alaska destinations has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Proposed deletion of Anthony Kukwa edit

The article Anthony Kukwa has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Cahk (talk) 17:53, 30 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
