Request reason:

I have attempted to add an article, made one edit, and now am blocked. I am unaffiliated with the brand, and it is not intended to be advertorial in nature. I believe that not only that this is subjective, but now I cannot rectify the issue by being able to edit my draft. I fully understand the need to remove web spam, but I do not understand or agree with the block of my account. I would like to edit the article so it is NOT advertorial in any way. I would be willing to discuss an unblock under the condition you do not edit about The Fragrance Shop. There is much work to be done in building the world's largest free content encyclopedia. Unblock request

I would be happy for that to be the case if it were possible to submit an requested article for The Fragrance Shop under companies. I was not aware this was possible previously. I can provide a neutral editor numerous notable and verifiable links to third parties to aid with this. As I mention, in no way was it my intent for my initial post to be advertorial in nature. I did a search in Google about the brand having been shopping on their site, and wanted to do a bit more digging into the business before i made a purchase. When i did the search, on the right hand side, there was information about The Perfume Shop, not The Fragrance Shop, which are two different businesses. The detail provided by Google was provided by Wikipedia so i did a search on Wiki for The Fragrance Shop and found no page. I understand having found out more information about the business now, that The Fragrance Shop is the largest independent retailer in the UK, bigger than The Perfume Shop, and given that Google is giving incorrect information for The Fragrance Shop, information about The Perfume Shop provided by Wikipedia, i thought it made sense to try and add the information i found. I found quite a lot of information in legitimate publications, the CEO interviewed by the BBC, reports in SKY News about them going public this year. I see no reason why they should not be included! If it is this hard to publish an article on Wiki, i'd be more than happy for it to be written by someone else. I just don't see why it shouldn't be there. I would like to request that i am unblocked so i can properly update my personal user profile page and therefore request a neutral third-party update the organisation page in question. There are enough notable sources to validate the request. I was misinformed about the process of getting a page created

I only want to be able to properly edit my user profile to correctly confirm my conflict of interest and then request a neutral third party update the page - past that point i do not wish to edit anything else

Decline reason:

You aren't going to be unblocked if all you want to do here is edit about your business, either directly or through a third party. If you want to be a general Wikipedia contributor, you will need to tell us what other subjects you are interested in editing in.
