Anne Hathaway

edit

Hi, I've moved the content you added to the Anne Hathaway article and created a new page for it at Portrait of Anne Hathaway. I did this because the content was too much like a catalogue entry, with a great deal about the provenance and the current location of the image. It seemed more appropritate for a separate page on the picture, where that material would be relevant, rather than the biography of AH herself. As you can see I have made some changes. As far as I am aware the "William Penn" who was the father of Curzon's wife was not the same William Penn who founded Pennsylvania. Also, according to the The Shakespeare Association bulletin (Volumes 16-17, 1941, p.112) the drawing and the Folio to which it belongs were acquired by Colgate University in 1941. I've also added some discussion of the authenticity of the image from Shakespeare experts. I hope this is OK. Paul B (talk) 17:58, 13 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

I don't think the title should be changed, unless it be to "Shakespear's Consort", which I would be fine with (a redirect would be automatically created to the original title). It did occur to me that someone might think it was the portrait of the actress, but that's irrelevant if the name is being used as a title. We don't change titles. In any case, I put the article name in the Anne Hathaway (disambiguation) page. Paul B (talk) 15:33, 14 July 2012 (UTC)Reply
