Civility edit

You have been warned plenty of times about vandalizing user pages and making personal attacks. Consider this your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page or make a personal attack, you will be blocked for disruption. -SpuriousQ (talk) 06:18, 22 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for violating Wikipedia policy by exhibiting continuous uncivil behavior. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by replying here on your talk page by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}}. Request reason:

I definately understand that repeatedly editting other people's user pages is not a nice thing to do. I am sorry for what I did, it most surely will not happen again

Decline reason:

You're not addressing the main problem, which is your proneness to issue personal attacks, as indicated in your block log. — 210physicq (c) 01:37, 17 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I'm glad to hear you say that, but I'm not convinced it's a good idea to unblock you in view of your long history of unhelpful edits with a very few helpful ones. If you want to edit Wikipedia, I'd like to hear what you want to work on and how you'll be productive before I take the risk. I'll be watching this page for your reply. Request reason:

As physicq stated and what I have been overlooking in my past requests is not only that I edited other people's user pages, but I used offensive, vulgar, and personal attacks that were completely unwarranted. I realize that this is very immature and has no place in an environment such as Wikipedia. I am truly sorry for what I did and would like to do my part in the Wikipedia community by being unblocked so I can contribute positive things.

Decline reason:

If we want pages replaced with 'Hi! I'm a fag!', we'll do that ourselves, thanks. Your block was months overdue. —Wknight94 (talk) 13:33, 18 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

As I have stated in previous requests, I realize that these personal attacks were completely out of place and I do not intend to make the same mistakes I did before I got banned if I am ever unbanned. During the month that I have been banned, with the hours of time I spend surfing through Wikipedia I have realized how much I enjoy making positive contributions wherever possible. On multiple occasions I will see outdated material that should be removed or updated or ongoing issues that have a legitimate place on Wikipedia that I want to add but I am unable. I deeply regret allowing myself to get out of control with my personal attacks and can guarantee that they will not commence in the future. Like the blocking policy states, if the blocked user agrees to cease doing what got them blocked in the first place, they should be able to be unblocked. I assure you that I have learned my lesson and these malicious acts won't take place again.

Your request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click View source on that article.
  • Copy and paste the contents of that page at the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = Article title =)
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article.
  • When are you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked and placed on probation.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. Sandstein 05:05, 24 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

It has been 4 years since my account was blocked, and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity now to be unblocked and prove that I have matured a great deal since four years ago

Decline reason:

You'll forgive my skepticism. If you would like to be taken seriously as an editor, I would suggest abandoning this account for a clean start. --Kinu t/c 21:22, 26 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I understand that you may be skeptical, but I believe that my IP was blocked from creating new accounts, and even if it wasn't, I really would like to keep my username consistent with my email and other usernames. With that being said, I would greatly appreciate another chance to restore my lousy reputation on Wikipedia. I use this website more often than google, and I think I can be a good contributor to the site. I often come across information on Wikipedia that sounds skeptical and without citation, so I look it up only to find that it is incorrect, and for the past 4 years haven't been able to do anything about it. This block is no longer necessary, I know I screwed up in the past, and I am sorry for that. I am sorry for the people whose personal pages I vandalized and the admins who had to deal with me. I can assure you that this WILL NOT, under any circumstance, happen again, and I can say that confidently because I am not the same person I was 4 years ago, that found it entertaining to do those types of things. Thank you, again, for your consideration.

Accept reason:

After four years I am willing to believe you may have grown out of the kind of behaviour you indulged in before, and so I will give you another chance. This is on the understanding that if I see any sign at all of return to your earlier ways I may restore the block without further warning. However, I hope and expect that I won't need to.
