Nomination of Creative Nation for deletion edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Creative Nation is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Creative Nation until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. -- Alan Liefting (talk - contribs) 21:56, 18 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

  • Objection to Deletion I am objecting to the proposed deletion of this page (Creative Nation) for being a "non-notable" company, as I have provided evidence that this company is a PARTNER of Universal Music Publishing Group, a division of NBC/Universal (i.e. a Fortune 500 Company). I have referenced press releases regarding this partnership, and will continue to reference more major media coverage, as future announcements about it's partnerships come about this year. Please advise if there is anything else I need to do in order to provide evidence of Creative Nation being a notable company, thank you kindly
  • Note that today (April 19th, 2012), I've made 9 in-line citations to the Creative Nation wiki page, to improve it accordingly. (Jpoindex (talk) 19:54, 19 April 2012 (UTC))Reply

Proposed deletion of Pulse Recording edit

The article Pulse Recording has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

advert for company, lacks coverage in independent reliable sources, most sources do not verify claims and none aresignificant independent coverage, notability is not inherited.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. duffbeerforme (talk) 02:33, 25 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello Jpoindex. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest or close connection to the subject.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Be cautious about deletion discussions. Everyone is welcome to provide information about independent sources in deletion discussions, but avoid advocating for deletion of articles about your competitors.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. duffbeerforme (talk) 07:39, 17 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

A belated welcome! edit

Sorry for the belated welcome, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, Jpoindex. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! -- Trevj (talk) 13:16, 21 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your article submission Oliver (band) edit

Hello Jpoindex. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Oliver (band).

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 15:08, 3 November 2013 (UTC)Reply
