Concern about duplicate articles

edit

You seem to have created two articles on Lucy Wanapuyngu, the second being Lucy Malirrimurruwuy Wanapuyngu. If, as I suspect, they are both about the same person, you should choose to keep the one with the more common name and blank the other, replacing the content with a redirect to the correct name. Please ask for help if you need it. Oronsay (talk) 03:13, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Two Names? Lucy Ashley

edit

Hi @Jpn9qr: I am currently reading "Art on a string" and I believe that Lucy may have been earlier known as Lucy Ashley (works 38, 39, 42, 66,78 ). Ancillary facts for Lucy Ashley match those for Lucy Wanapuyngu. The book lists no work by Lucy Wanapuyngu, yet the article indicates that her works formed part of this exhibition. Hoping you may have some reference for the two names resolving to the one person.... MargaretRDonald (talk) 06:41, 22 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
