Unblock

I'm trying to log in to Wikipedia and edit pages from my work computer at the UK Government's Department of Health and I'm receiving error messages saying that the IP address has been blocked. I was told to past the following text into the user talk page

A port scan showed filtered ports and I could find nothing from Google and RBLs to suggest this could be an open proxy. It's been over a year since the block and that should be long enough for this IP to be secure again. Spellcast (talk) 20:40, 5 December 2008 (UTC)

Quoted a guy who was just plain wrong. I've spoken to council officers who confirmed the windows were metal. Also PVC windows don't melt - they degrade (ie break down and turn to nothing). I've referenced the technical expert

From the source After visiting the scene on 6 July, he said: "All the facades and window frames were replaced with flammable uPVC which melts in fire, releasing toxic fumes." Thanks for working your work on the article. If you know anything about his work, could you simplify and reduce the intro a bit. I often try and give up. It's a hopeless mess but I can't see if the info in it is echoed elsewhere in the article. Any rationalisation (moving down of text) if you know something of his work, is appreciated. Just a thought. Help! This page has twice been speedily deleted as being promotional. I agree it's very positive, but I haven't found any negative coverage. In fact the company's press releases are less flattering than the stuff which comes from independent sources. Can you help me - either to make it less promotional, or to defend it as it is?
