In response to your feedback edit

Hi JovanAndreano, and thank you for your feedback. You appear to have succesfully edited several articles already, so I'm not sure what the problem is. Are your edits not showing up after you've saved the page? This may be because you need to purge your cache, or it may be that another editor has reverted your edits, in which case it will be shown in the Edit history. If you have a specific problem, you can always ask at my talkpage or at the helpdesk.

Source request edit

Hi there. Regarding the Masuna article you created, it seems quite obscure! As such, I had trouble tracking down any sources to back it up. I was wondering how you know this information? Do you have any sources for it? Regards Basalisk inspect damageberate 10:49, 19 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

May 2012 edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Berber Revolt with this edit, did not appear to be constructive, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Geoff Who, me? 01:00, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Estevanico with this edit, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. Jim1138 (talk) 06:46, 26 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Lixus (ancient city) with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Jim1138 (talk) 06:47, 26 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits. The next time you vandalize a page, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. --Omar-Toons (talk) 15:50, 26 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Omar, it's not vandalism, though it is edit warring. I think we have a new editor here who has yet to learn how Wikipedia works. — kwami (talk) 20:20, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Hi,

I'm glad to see that you're starting to use sources. That's exactly what we need. I was prepared to revert one of your edits, but I didn't because I was convinced by the source you used.

However, in this edit you use Wikipedia as a source. We can't use one WP (Wikipedia) article as a source for another, even if it's been printed as a book like this one has.

As for your campaign to convert "Berber" to "Amazigh", that's a matter of WP:COMMONNAME, and should be discussed in a centralized location. If we agree with you, people will help you make the change. However, you need to demonstrate that it's the appropriate name in English, and AFAICT, "Berber" is the name by which the vast majority of English speakers know these people. Few people would recognize the name "Amazigh".

PS. The welcome message at the top of this page links to several explanations of our policies. I know it's annoying to read all that stuff, but knowing how Wikipedia works will help you be successful in your edits.

I see you had a good experience with Yunshui above. He's good with new editors, so you might want to ask him his advice when you have problems with false claims or with other editors. — kwami (talk) 20:22, 27 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Msemen edit

The article Msemen has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

non notable pancake.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Pancake articles edit

Hi Jovan, I was wondering if you had any sources that could help to establish notability for the Beghrir article you recently created. Also, it would help if you had some for Msemen that are not just from cookbooks that give the recipe. They don't have to be in English, but any sources will help. Disambiguation link notification for July 20 edit

Hi. When you recently edited Beghrir, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Berber (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Abuse of multiple accounts edit

Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.
