Request on 05:18:33, 7 August 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by 58.7.162.61

I article I wrote yesterday for Sir James McCusker was written on behalf of my employer Mr Malcolm McCusker CV AVO QC who is the son of Sir James and wanted the article of his life published. Mr Malcolm McCusker is the reference that should be quoted for this article.

Disambiguation link notification for August 7

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Construction Irreducible Markov Chain in Ising Model, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Convergence. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

James McCusker

Hello,

I am not sure if i am in the correct location but yesterday i created an article about Sir James McCusker - apparently it has been declined due to lack of reference. I should have noted that the article was written on behalf of my employer Mr Malcolm McCusker QC who is the son of Sir James McCusker. He wishes his father's history to be placed on Wikipedia. Is that an acceptable reference?

Kind regards
Ursula Sujdovic — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ursula Sujdovic (talkcontribs) 05:43, 7 August 2015

Hello Ms/Mrs. Sujdovic.
Unfortunately rhat would not be a good source for two reasons. One, it is not a verifiable source since re-users and readers need to be able to reasearch all the informton mentioned on Wikipedia by themself and find the same information. Two, it does not prove a subjects notability to be included in an encyclopedia. Here below is a simplified explanation why:

Articles generally require significant coverage

in reliable sources

that are independent of the topic.
Acceptable sources include, but not limited, or guaranteed to be: newspapers, peer-reviewed journals, etc. independent written and published.
I hope I could shed some lights on things, if not, please have a read of: Wikipedia:Verifiability, Wikipedia:Reliable sources, Wikipedia:Notability (people). Thanks (tJosve05a (c) 22:08, 8 August 2015 (UTC)

Request on 14:04:18, 11 August 2015 for assistance on AfC submission by Ewert333

Hello,

I recently rewrote the Clearfield, Inc. article that was deleted due to a copyright violation. My appologies for copy pasting, I was completely in the wrong and have re-written the part that was cited as a copyright violation.

I am not entirely sure how this works now, I put everything back together and moved it to the "talk page"... but not your talk page? Can you please advise? I just was hoping for another shot at this to get on Wikipedia and be done with this. Thank you very much for your edits.

Best regards, ewert333

00:45:17, 12 August 2015 review of submission by Ursula Sujdovic

Ursula Sujdovic (talk) 00:45, 12 August 2015 (UTC) Good Morning,

I have resubmitted my page for review (I added a number of references which I did not have in place in the original document) I have now a number of newspaper articles which I would like to submit as references but due to the fact that the article was written in 1995 their is no digital reference - is it possible to scan the article for Wikipedia to verify and allow it to be added to my document.

Kind regards Ursula Sujdovic

Hi, Jonatan. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 07:31, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

@Nahnah4: Hi :) So basically, we migh know it is going to be released, but we do not have any reliable sources that can verify the name or date of when it will be published. We need to have a source which can prove that this is going to be the name of the album. Without it, it is just speculations (highly educated guesses). (tJosve05a (c) 07:37, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Well, I know, I was saying that a user is removing it although the release date is written as "TBA". Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 07:41, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Well, with this edit you add the title to the artilce, without a real source that that is going to be the name of it. It's not just the date that needs a source. (tJosve05a (c) 07:43, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
This is the source. Nahnah4 (talk | contribs | guestbook) 07:49, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
Then include that in an edit summary or as a footnote. Wikipedia readers should not need to look up on twitter and Google to find where we got our information, even if it is public knowledge.
@Nahnah4: And please do not call users stupid, even if it is off-wiki. Still falls within WP:NPA. (tJosve05a (c) 07:53, 13 August 2015 (UTC)

Questions about Orphan tag on my article

Thank you for assisting me with my first article, Deb Sofield.

I tried linking to another appropriate article, the Order of the Palmetto, which the person I wrote about received in 2008. As I understood your tag, I needed to add her name to that existing article appropriately, which I did, using an appropriate reference. My edits were removed by Yopie and labelled as advertising and promotional. Yopie has also tagged my Deb Sofield article in the same way.

I am at a loss as to what I can do to remove the tags and edit my article appropriately. Also, what is the protocol when someone adds a tag, I make any appropriate adjustments and then need to remove the tag. This all feels accusatory, but I realize everyone is trying to help.

Thank you for your guidance. YearginD (talk) 14:42, 14 August 2015 (UTC)≥

Channel 7

Good Afternoon,

I work for CHNLD artist management, we represent 7 are looking to revamp his Wikipedia page. What is the proper procedure to update his page? I also need to change his name from Channel 7 to 7 Aurelius. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JohnyCHNLD (talkcontribs) 18:51, 25 August 2015 (UTC)

Hello JohnyCHNLD. The proper persedure it to read Wikipedia:Paid editing (guideline) as well as Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. From there you will be able to find link which will discuss how to make changes, as well as how to reqest others to make changes if you belive you can not stay neutral. I wish you luck, and happy editing! (tJosve05a (c) 07:48, 26 August 2015 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Arthur (season 20)

The article Arthur (season 20) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unsourced future content.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. /* August 2015 */

I think you're looking at the term "constructive" subjectively. While it may not appear friendly in nature, its accuracy is undeniable and has been pulled from credible sources. I appreciate your help and your vigilance. Have a lovely evening. TheGoldenAuthor (talk) 02:56, 30 August 2015 (UTC)TheGoldenAuthor

It did not seem to comply with WP:BLP or WP:NPOV ("talent for alienating others"), since it wasn't a quote (with a footnote) from a reliable source, which is needed. (tJosve05a (c) 02:59, 30 August 2015 (UTC)
