How to add footnotes
editFootnotes can be added inline to the body of your text using <ref> tags. An example looks like:
JavaScript is used on webpages today.<ref>Smith, John (2005), ''JavaScript 101'', ISBN 938223445333</ref>
And the resultant text would look like: JavaScript is used on webpages today.1
With the superscript 1 being a link to a footnote at the bottom of the page automatically created by inserting the code: {{reflist}}

The article Nick Pope (footballer) has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one reliable source that directly supports material in the article.
