Welcome new user

edit

Hello, User:JoshE3, I see you opened an account in October last year and have begun to make edits to the encyclopaedia but have never received an official welcome. So let me belatedly give you a warm welcome to the project. Here's a standard welcome box with lots of useful links. I hope you get pleasure from editing and making Wikipedia an even better resource for the community. Wikipedia encourages members to jump in and make corrections and contributions to articles. I myself found the Be bold guideline particularly encouraging when I was getting started. I also found the Wikipedia:Cheatsheet a useful quick reference for editing text.

If you have any questions about the project don't hesitate to contact me on my talk page here User_talk:Lumos3.

Happy editing,

Lumos3 (talk) 08:59, 14 April 2011 (UTC) , Wikipedia Welcoming Committee.Reply

FAC nomination

edit

It's great that you jumped right in at FAC, we always need new blood. But really, your goal is to have every sentence attributed to a source. It can be a book, it doesn't have to be online. But yes, list it at peer review and ask for advice, I'm sure you will get plenty.--Wehwalt (talk) 20:05, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Latin Wikipedia

edit

I saw that you had asked about a Latin Wikipedia on the Babel talk page. You can find it here. Vanisaac (talk) 22:34, 30 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
