Nomination of Syed Shahabuddin for deletion

edit

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Syed Shahabuddin is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Syed Shahabuddin until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. E4024 (talk) 17:34, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Removal of deletion templates

edit

Please become more familiar with our criteria for speedy deletion before continuing to remove CSD templates. You recently removed one on Order of the Sword and Shield in conflict with WP:CSD#A7. The article has since been deleted.

Based on your comments on the articles's talk page, you should also familiarize yourself with our policies on Wikipedia:Proposed deletion too. Toddst1 (talk) 21:17, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am just adding in the references now just checking the layout to make sure it matches the wiki layout — Preceding unsigned comment added by JeffA87 (talkcontribs) 21:57, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

OK, thanks for clarifying this Josh1024 (talk) 22:04, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I have finished all the others and i am ready to go back to the first one but I can't get back to it with out editing what you have put in there. Is it ok to go back and finish up that link or is it going to get deleted again? please advise I have the reference and layout ready to go — Preceding unsigned comment added by JeffA87 (talkcontribs) 22:27, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I finished up the links and references. I will probably go back in tomorrow and ad some more references and links between names in the discriptions and other articles on Wiki. I changed the format/words of that article to take his name tricks away from his description because I thought that sounded like the promotional part the flag thats why I went into separating his effects from his discription. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JeffA87 (talkcontribs) 23:14, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I can see that you have added your improved content to the page. In order for your article to receive fair treatment I will unreview it meaning another editor will review it and will decide if your article passed all appropriate Wikipedia policies. Hope this helps, Josh1024 (talk) 23:17, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Focus X

edit

Hi, i have added citations to the article Focus X. I hope they are ok. The only thing is, i don't understand how to add the album cover on the page. Please could you explain? Thanks, Y45ed (talk) 23:05, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for taking my advice and improving your article. I personally can't help you with your question because I lack technical knowledge about this, but I know some who probably can, you could send Skamecrazy123 a message by clicking here. I will mark your article as unreviewed so that another editor can review it to make sure I haven't missed anything. If you have any more questions feel free to reply below, Josh1024 (talk) 23:26, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Isoalloxazine

edit

Dear Josh, I just added the article Isoalloxazine because it was not yet present in Wiki. I feel that Isoalloxazine deserves an article. I'll expand the article and put some references later (now I'm engaged in other writing). If there is a specific violation to Wiki rules, please let me know. All the best, Gianluca — Preceding unsigned comment added by GianlucaMolla (talkcontribs) 13:36, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

New Page Patrol

edit

Hi Josh, thanks for your help patrolling new pages. I reviewed one of your CSD tags and I've had to decline it. You see, you used the WP:CSD criteria A7 which is for "real person, individual animal(s), organization, web content or organized event" and not for molecules. It's very important that we stick to these criteria when using CSD because it's impossible for non-administrators to verify our actions which means we have to get it right the first time to maintain trust. Since everything on Wikipedia happens based on consensus, we must followed the established consensus at WP:CSD. Also, generally when tagging a page, it's only helpful to pick the most glaring issues to tag a page for. A page that is mostly tags with content hidden between them isn't very appealing to our readers. Anyway, thanks again for your help.--v/r - TP 20:22, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Goatskrieg

edit

Hello, I have removed the speedy deletion tag you placed on Goatskrieg, as speedy deletion criterion A9 is only applicable to musical recordings (songs, albums, etc.), not to musicians or bands. A7 is the speedy deletion criterion that applies to musicians or bands that have no claim to notability. I think this article has a shot at qualifying for that criterion, so I have tagged it.

I have also removed the proposed deletion tag you placed on the same article, as proposed deletion is only for deletions that you believe are uncontroversial and the rationale you provided indicated you do not believe deletion of this article to be uncontroversial. If you believe an article's deletion may be contested by anybody, use the Articles for deletion process. Cheers, —KuyaBriBriTalk 22:06, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
