Proposed deletion of Charles do Vale de Souza

Hi Joseph2302,

I have edited the page and mentioned "Charles do Vale de Souza (born 02 July 1993) is a Brazilian professional football player who joined Indian club Chennai City in the professional I-League " and this is correct information , please review it again. Chennai City FC also confirmed in their tweeter page that Charles joined in their club. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SaSa 2017 (talkcontribs) 11:36, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

Hi SaSa 2017, to meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines for footballers, he needs to play for Chennai City. Until that time, he hasn't played in a fully professional league, and so an article about him is likely to get deleted. I'll remove the proposed deletion tag, but other users may start a deletion discussion about it. Joseph2302 (talk) 17:22, 3 January 2017 (UTC)

DYK for Alison Hughes

On 21 January 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Alison Hughes, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in 2015, Alison Hughes was part of the first ever all-female officiating team in a Fed Cup final? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Alison Hughes. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Alison Hughes), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
