Hello! The article you just created, Immune network theory, appears to be a previously-published paper on the subject. Be advised that this is probably a copyright violation and is not acceptable material for Wikipedia. --SquidSK (1MClog) 09:37, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

So this text has been published in a journal? In that case, there is definitely a copyright issue. The journal it was published in could take legal action against Wikipedia for violation its copyright. Please read our copyright policies very closely. As for making the article acceptable, you need to completely rewrite it for a very high-level, low-detail audience. Give a brief overview of the technical details, then focus on what makes the theory notable and important to the relevant field of study. --SquidSK (1MClog) 10:03, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
I know little to nothing about this subject matter, but could this article be condensed and made into a section of the Adaptive immune system article? That article actually looks like it's a bit too long and detailed to be encyclopedic, but that might be a better home for this information. --SquidSK (1MClog) 10:09, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ok, as long as none of the text is copied verbatim from a published piece, you should be ok. The next concern is WP:SYNTHESIS. Wikipedia is not an appropriate place to publish original research. I know, this may seem like a contradiction, since I said you shouldn't use published material, but you should also not create articles that draw conclusions not explicitly stated in your sources. Look at the WP:SYNTHESIS guidelines and see what you think. (Not trying to badger you guys to death, but I want to make sure your article survives in one form or another - looks like good information!) --SquidSK (1MClog) 10:25, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Jorgito, I've just put in some wiki-style inline citations for Immune network theory. I just want to check: after the sentence "Hoffmann has proposed that for brevity specific T cell factors should be called tabs", there is the number 4 - was this meant to be in superscript? That is, a citation to Hoffman. I wasn't sure. If this is the case, you might like to replace it with the wiki code <ref name=hoffmanINT/> which will link it up correctly. Thanks, Marasmusine (talk) 13:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
