Speedy deletion nomination of Sex Swing (Band)

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, introducing inappropriate pages, such as Sex Swing (Band), is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. • I see you say that it is a "jokey" article. OK, but Wikipedia is not a place to post "jokey" articles, otherwise known as hoaxes. If you enable email on your Wikipedia account, I will email you the source of the article. To enable email, click on the "preferences" link at the top of the page, then select the "User profile" tab, and scroll down to "Email options". When you've done it, let me know. • The links above will take you to various Wikipedia policies, guidelines, and some other pages intended to help new editors find their way around. Unfortunately in my opinion, there are far too many policies and guidelines, and most of them are far longer than they have any good reason to be, which can make it difficult and confusing for new editors. Don't try to read and learn everything there before you do any more editing, but do have a quick glance and read anything there that seems to be relevant to your needs. Obviously, you can always come back and look at other things when you find they become relevant to you. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 16:12, 5 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Email

edit

I have sent you an email. Very occasionally I have known Wikipedia's email service to fail to deliver an email, so if you don't get the email please let me know. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 14:05, 7 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

I have sent the email again. If it fails again, let me know and I'll get it to you by a different method. I have known Wikipedia emails to be put in my spam folder for no obvious reason, so check there if it doesn't appear in your inbox. I have tried sending an email to myself, and it hasn't arrived, so there is clearly some problem with Wikipedia's email service right now. However, I'll wait to see whether you tell me you haven't received my second email to you before doing anything else.
