Report issues

We need to somehow catch pages like Template:Florida Southern Railway which have a self-only transclude but only on their talk page. Ideally, the check should be

• Get all templates with number of transclusions less than 6 (5 valid transclusions are: main, talk, /sandbox, /doc, /testcases).
• Keep in the report all templates that have all of their transclusions only one of the above pages.

@Cryptic is it possible to exclude transclusions that happen on a specific user? Some users like User:I am RedoStone/sandbox for some reason want to transclude every template which throws off the report. Gonnym (talk) 09:54, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

On specific pages, or pages matching a given pattern, yes; but pages created by or last edited by specific users is impractical. Excluding that sandbox makes no difference to the results. Do you have a list? Or a template that should show up, but doesn't solely because of sandboxes like that? —Cryptic 13:12, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

Thanks for that quick update! I think you give that editor way too much credit. It seems their aim (based on the previous version of their page), is to transclude every single template, not just orphan ones. Gonnym (talk) 17:26, 8 June 2024 (UTC)

Over 400 pages cleared in a month

With the updated code we had 2311 pages listed here, and around ~150-200 more were added with sports and other templates. A month later and we are at 1902. Pretty impressive over 400 pages cleared. Gonnym (talk) 11:01, 1 July 2024 (UTC)
